I miss a lot of retired players!!! But, if we're talking recently, I would have to say Travis Frederick. Our o-line hasn't been the same since he retired. One of the best centers we've had.

Hard decision because I don't miss any of them. They retired when they did - most when they couldn't play any more.
But if I had to pick one, it would have to be based on unfulfilled promise so it would be Tony Romo.
While I backed Dak staying as the starter when Romo got better in 2016, I believe we go to the Super Bowl if Romo was playing, although I think we would have loss to the Patriots.

I'll admit that I can never make up my mind completely. Always miss Staubach. And for the longest time, I missed Larry Allen and Charles Haley. But right now, I miss Michael Irvin. The way he bullied CBs and make them look like rag dolls. Very underrated and under-appreciated IMO.

Which player do you miss the most?

I would choose to bring back vintage Roger... He would fit right in with today's spread offense and he could call RPO as well. As a matter of fact, Landry brought back the shotgun to the NFL with Roger taking the snaps. He would instantly make the offense better. Shovel passes to Dorsett, fake reverse screens, jump passes... That my friends was a leader and a winner.
The original Triplets....Staubach, Dorsett and Pearson.

Michael Irvin and Troy Aikman. Their talent speaks for themselves but what I miss is the intolerance of players not giving it their all. Aikman and Irvin drove the team and expected results and no excuses. They were just as much coaches as players as far as making the team work hard.

I remember a story in 95 when Sherman William's was our top draft pick and he skipped a day of voluntary OTAs to get his picture taken for a football card company. Irvin got in his face and challenged his commitment to the team. That's what I miss and we haven't had that since Jimmy left.

if you consider retired players that could help this team now-today. Travis Fredrick was a man among boys. Man he could really help this team.

Too many to count

I wish we still had Rocket Ishmael because we have not had a good burner since he left.

The man, the myth, the legend. Jeff Christ Heath.

Too hard to pick one.
If I had to rank them:
Aikman, Woodson, Emmitt Smith, Moose Johnston, Larry Allen

We could use a prime Dez Bryant right about now. Gimme some prime Demarcus Ware as well.

Drew Pearson, I knew we always had a chance to win the game in the last 2 minutes as long as he was out there.
