Why?
Because the law of public opinion trumps the law in the NFL.
As it should.
Why?
BS if true, courts already said there were not enough for criminal charges, the arbitrator saii the same thing. So once again we are going by the publics feelings rather than the evidence, it's the same bs that got Zeke suspended.
The accusations are, yes. Without question. There is no world where the accusation of a single consensual transaction with a prostitute is as bad as the accusation of 20-25 women alleging sexual harassment and/or assault, including forcing women to give oral sex against their will.Ok ...... Watson is much worse that Kraft ...... I get it ...... I understand you opinion ...... Have a nice day.

He bought a service that was illegal. He did not do anything like Watson did .
by his choiceI don't have a problem with 6 games, dude already sit all of last year.
The fact that you call an enslaved girl a prostitute is all I need to hear from you ..... Good day and please stop trying to converse with me ..... That the last time I will respond to you.
I'm sure there is a process for all of this built into the collective bargaining agreementHow the heck can the NFL appeal this decision? I'm no lawyer, but aren't arbitration decisions binding?
If Goodell does a 1 year suspension and the NFLPA does in fact get a injunction and he plays games this year and the suspension is upheld (likely outcome) Watson will loose a lot of money if those games are pushed into next year on how the contract was set up. It may come down to accepting the increased punishment because of the all the money on the table.Strangely, that would likely increase Watson's chances of playing week one.
His lawyer could request a restraining order, blocking any suspension until the matter can be decided in court.
Take the suspension and get paid boatloads to sit at home and play video games? If Goodell does a 1 year suspension and the NFLPA does in fact get a injunction and he plays games this year and the suspension is upheld (likely outcome) Watson will loose a lot of money if those games are pushed into next year on how the contract was set up. I'm sure his contract doesn't allow for him to get paid while he is suspended as if he is an active playerTake the suspension and get paid boatloads to sit at home and play video games?
He still gets his guaranteed money. I wasnt referring to his salary.I'm sure his contract doesn't allow for him to get paid while he is suspended as if he is an active player

Not sure to be honest.Didnt they give him that up front and it left out the backdoor for the "NDA's"?
I suppose it's true there was a sizable chunk of change that was already paid, so it's not as if he will be hurting for money, but the guaranteed portion was not all paid up front, and I would b shocked if a suspension doesn't have an effect on that. He'll be wealthy regardless, but sitting out a year could still cost him 10's of millions, anHe still gets his guaranteed money. I wasnt referring to his salary.
Look at the contract this years $$ vs next years, also he doesn’t get paid when suspended . After you look at money you will understand.Take the suspension and get paid boatloads to sit at home and play video games?
