Given the lack of quality WR depth, should the Cowboys severely limit Cee Dee's role in TC and Pre-season games. He is the only starting caliber WR on the roster so if he goes down for any length of time, it may spell doom for this season. It's tough because he can just as easily get hurt during non-contact practice so you can't put him in a bubble.

Yeah, that'll help improve his drops.

Veterans play so little in preseason any more, plus the number of games has been cut to three, so there is minimal threat there. He’ll probably spend more energy on preseason game day taking his pads on and off than playing.

hell no!. it's a big boy's game. Run it till its broke. I'm not a fan of sitting them in the end either.

it takes the edge off. I never sat mine.

He needs at least a few preseason reps but most of the starters aren’t going to play much in preseason.

If Dak is not playing then he need not too I guess. Only with Dak he needs to get the timing , understanding etc.

Bro, I'm trying to find out if that theory Pollard is a WR is true? ;)

I don't think Lamb should be sitting. From the looks of it, he and Dak need to get on the same page.

I don't care what they do, but he has to be ready to play week 1. Whatever it takes. Sometimes when you're not up to speed, you can get injured trying to do more because you're not prepared. I think we see a lot of injuries early on due to this reason. It's like stretching before a game, it's a slow process.

Might be a wise move.
