He definitely isn’t a first round hit. So hes either a bust or meh..doesn’t matter , he isn’t good

LVE makes it or breaks it now, I thought Barr would remain on speed dial just in case LVE faltered but signing Barr this soon was either an early identification from Q that LVE isnt going to be enough or just an impulse buy at this time
because Dallas FO was worried that Denver was in the hunt.

A bust? He was phenomenal his rookie year, second team All-Pro and looked to combine with Jaylon as the best LB corp in the league. But those injuries - you can't win games on the sidelines and playing half the year. Last year, it just felt like the neck injuries limited him and that he still doesn't trust himself.

So not a bust, but also not a hit. Just a guy who will be lucky if he can play at 30. His market shows that teams are also leery.

I'll pull for him though because I'd love for him to prove us all wrong.

He's another example of why you don't draft players with an injury history in the early rounds, Jerry.

Not a total bust. If he had been a third or fourth rounder, he would not be in the bust discussion at all. Because he was first rounder, the discussion comes up.

I think if LVE had been able to stay healthy he would be a pro bowler. Health has been his biggest problem.

If anyone wants to see what a first-round bust at linebacker looks like, here you go:

I thought he was very good his first year. Then he disappointed in the following years and somewhat rebounded last year

however, I thought he played his best game ever when it mattered most against SF

He is a bust, but not like a Taco bust.

He hasn't lived up to the hype he was getting. He was being compared to Urlacher after he was drafted IIRC.

It depends on what your definition of a bust is. In a redraft he doesn't go in the 1st round knowing what we know today. Maybe not in the first 3 rounds.

If he was drafted in the 3rd or 4th round, No. But as a 1st round pick and 17th overall, Yes.

It's close, actually after seeing they signed Barr, I was thinking the same thing about him, close and anyone's call pretty much. I can see and agree with yes because they never were what was expected of them.
