This is 100% accurate and you can even toss in the fact that he has idiots for coaches on the offensive side of the ball.

Hey Dak. You wanted 40m+ a year? Now basically go do it all on your own. That’s what he’s up against. Not to mention the wrong rb is getting all the carries. Deck is stacked against Dak.

Brady is the greatest to have ever done it. But how many other NFL quarterbacks could have done what he has in the last 20 years????

Then again, give Dak BB and the privilege to play against the same Dolphins, Jets, and Bills teams that Brady played against for 20 years and I think Dak would be very successful.

Not as successful as Brady, but successful.

I don't think Colin, or anybody for that matter, measures Brady's success on how well he played against the Jets, Bills, and Dolphins.

Dak has played just fine against similar teams. Namely the Eagles, Giants and Whatevers.

The problems arise against very good teams and playoff teams. The type of teams the Cowboys play early on in the schedule, as Cowherd said. Hence why his monologue is relevant.

He's paid like a guy who can carry a team who may be short on weapons. Now he has to perform like it.

Nobody is asking Dak to be Brady. Just elevate his game when the horses aren't there to support him

You think Dak cares? He’ll be above average, put up passing stats and Jerry will pay him 60 million in 2 years

Colin, for as much as I don't like him, is usually spot on about Dak.
Colin is underestimating the offensive talent that New England had with Brady. Plus their offensive coordinator is light years ahead of Kellen. We don’t even want to compare Belichick to Garrett or MM. The Patriots has always had one of the top offensive lines in the league.

He hasn't really been "run the offense" Dak, or "great offensive line" Dak, or even "run first Dak" for a few years now, so I don't know what Cowherd is thinking. The Cowboys have had him throwing on a much higher % of downs than in his first few years, and his stats have reflected that. Plus Tyron Smith has had nagging injuries for several years, and Travis Frederick last played fully healthy in 2017. Additionally, the Cowboys haven't been a top running team since 2019.

That said, Dak, and the offense have been explosive at times, but have also been very inconsistent. Dak is a better QB with a quality running game (as are all QB's), and while he can put up big stats throwing at a very high rate, it hasn't resulted in the kind of consistent offense it should be. Obviously that's not all on Dak, but certainly some of it is, and it is up to the team (Moore/Dak/McCarthy) to figure out the formula that leads to that consistency.
