Love Emmitt but Zeke isn't him, this offense isn't the 90s offense, and the game is different now.

When these Cowboys get in trouble they aren't going to be able to just line up and run it with Zeke 7 straight plays, like Emmitt did in his day. They aren't built for it.

Emmitt and his mates made that look a lot easier than it really is for most teams.

This whole "Zeke should be the focal point of the offense" is so assinine to me because its like people think the Cowboys don't want to do it. They'd love to win rushing the ball 30 times with Zeke...problem is...its not a winning formula for this team. The offensive line nor Zeke are good enough to replicate what 2016 was. Just not. People need to really dead that.

Shared yes, but Elliott is FAR from washed up as some seem to think. He played hurt last year and the Oline was a bad run blocking unit. He’s still a very good back and it will show this season if he remains healthy and the Oline gets its head out of its ***.

The teams who compete for super bowls have a ball control facet to their O, w/ very few exceptions. Brady uses the short passing game like a running game to control clock.

The Cowboys have issues on the interior that make it hard for Zeke, who specializes in interior runs, to be the focal point of the offense. The Cowboys could have addressed this by taking this by taking the drafts top C who fell but instead a player who can play multiple positions versus playing one position very well (and I guess they wanted to replace Connor William's holding penalties).

The Rams and Bengals are about big plays. The Chiefs were about big plays The Bills are a pass first offense. I could keep going but the point is you can easily be pass first and compete for a Super Bowl.

Zeke is in the best shape of his life..........again :laugh:.

This is a passing league now. Take a look around. Running the ball is important, but it won't take you deep into the playoffs anymore. The Titans are a prime example of that.

Throwing the ball is what wins games in todays league. The rules are set up that way.

we started last season 7-2 (6-0 run)because of zeke 5.1 YPC top 3 in the league before he got hurt.

IT was the run game , was zeke , only thing over the hill is your opinions.

zeke isnt 2016 zeke ,Neither is the OL or team, zeke started last year like 2018 Zeke and if healthy and when pollards used as compliment the run game can carry the offense and take the heat off Dak..

this is more on MOORE 2019-present zeke production went down with the OL and OC schemes,

They know and in fact, admitted (Jerry Jones) they overpaid for an Average QB who needs Zeke and the defense to carry him.
Cap won't allow building a Ravens 2000 def and offline and Zeke are older so you do the math?
