I am not talking about using a 3rd. I am talking about using our 5th and comp picks to move up. Stephen hoards draft picks because he likes the idea of more opportunities to hit on a player. Why not go with a quality over quantity approach?
To move up in the 4th? That is still too high for a kicker. No matter what you think about hording picks, taking a kicker that high, and trading picks to do it os a horrible use of assets. Thats not what I would call a "quality over quantity " approach. If you are consolidating assets, you do it to land a key contributor that you are going to get 600-700 snaps a year. Not a specialist.

Whoever says we need to trade up for a K this year, would be complaining next year you'll complain that we didn't us those picks on position players. And they would be right

Yeah fans are going to stop cheering for an All-Pro cornerback that set a single season interception record because he got beat in a practice drill.:rolleyes::eek::eek:

That's not what he said. He said if he gives up a lot of plays while getting a third of the turnovers during the season.
It's not unfair for fans to be concerned that he seems to get beaten too much and knowing 11 picks isn't likely this year. We all hope he finds that balance between solid coverage and being aggressive. But like every other player, he needs to show us.

All-Pro Season. He was the reason we won games. What big pass that he give up last season that has you concerned. The best cornerback in the league gave up two 70 yard bombs in the playoffs. The Rams need to cut Ramsey.:rolleyes:o_Oo_O

That was last season. The guy was commenting on the upcoming season and IF Diggs results were .....

You can bet your tail the coaches and fans were not happy with Ramsey either. Ramsey wasn't happy with Ramsey. That's how it should be. Trying to get better rather than act like the good plays are the only ones we see.

"Bum shoulder"? It's a bruise.
A bone bruise is not like a bruise that you might have had when your little sister kicked your arse.

It's classified as a traumatic injury. You could call it a pre-break.

If that area gets hit again before it heals, it's almost guaranteed to become a broken bone.

“Complications include bone marrow changes that can cause serious inflammation, decreased blood flow and fluid buildup inside the bone.”

Was the the game in Minnesota?
He was on pace to break the single game rushing record. And I think he would have.
Then the hand, and did not play in the 2nd half.

Smith missed the next game against the Packers. In that game, there was no Aikman (out with a concussion), no Smith (broken hand) and no Irvin (career ended in Philly earlier in the season), and they still beat the Packers and Favre. Robert Chancey played a lot at RB, and had his 15 minutes of fame as a Cowboy.

A, "traumatic injury," huh? Tell me- what kind of injuries aren't caused by trauma? I used to give presentations about physical trauma and how to identify different injuries. Those bruises you got from your sister caused inflammation and decreased blood flow, too.

Sure you did ...... In between your astronaut and secret agent jobs.

Nobody who works at that kind of job would make light of an injury oh hearsay.

I appreciate the irony of someone telling me I don't know what I'm talking about and then making blanket statements about what people in my career field would do. Chef's kiss.

Something to consider for all of Nall's white knights-

As I said in my first post, Emmitt played with a separated shoulder. Missed zero games. Took live game, "trauma," immediately after the injury and then 2 weeks later. You know what comes with a separated shoulder? *gasp* Bruising... decreased bloodflow around the inflamed areas... a greater risk of more severe injury... etc.

But hey, maybe Nall's bone bruise is much more severe than what happened to Emmitt. I doubt it but you guys can google bone bruises so what do I know? Lol
