Hey, you never know what we will find. Maybe Dennis Houston is actually a really good WR.
I truly believe that there have been a lot of really good players that never got a shot in this league, cut, and never heard of again.
Finding success in this league is about environment and opportunity, if you get both of those you have a pretty decent chance.

Exactly, or were used incorrectly. I'll give an example, and maybe it's because it's not the NFL, but players like Jeffcoat's child and Lucky Whitehead are playing great football in Canada, and they were brought in to play with Garrett coaching. What if they had Quinn and Mike coaching them? The BC Lions have a Canadian QB who looks solid like he could be a legit backup in the NFL if not a possible starter. There are kickers in Japan in that league that can hit monster kicks. I think the Cowboys would be well served to, cast a larger net. Not just in the US, but look at international leagues. You never really know what you'll find. Our kicking game is bad, so, maybe bringing in a kicker from Japan to compete would be good. Maybe the scouts should watch more of the CFL. Maybe part of the reason we miss out on great players at times is because we're not creative enough with ideas.

Lots of great UDFA players in the history of the league. I was more making fun of the post saying because Dak has a UDFA receiver he is going to suck. Meanwhile Beasley had his best year in Dallas with....Dak lol.
I hear you, and to be honest I dont really care about the BS that floats around here daily, I just want to focus on finding some talent stepping up.
If that is Houston finding some rhythm and some chemistry with Dak than we should be celebrating.
Dak needs recievers in this offense to establish some chemistry, I know I keep pounding that, but timing is essential between QB and receiver, and we have a lot of young ones that are viable.

I think it will be better than before the Cowboys traded for Cooper but it won't be much better. There will be shades of that time IMO for the offense. Just a gut feeling. Hope I'm wrong.

I can’t wait for the season. Prescott without a superstar at wide receiver. this is where he gets to really prove himself , make it or break it , No excuses. Can you put the team on your shoulders. I think we’ll have a winning season. Then it’ll be up to the defense to see how Far we can go from there.
He has a superstar in lamb. And a top 5 pass catching te.

Your like a little kid that thinks he knows football.

We have our TurpinTime now, and he might be our Dave Meggett.

As long as we have a possession style receiver. Don’t drop footballs. You seem to think it’s just , because of one player. Come on the season haven’t even started yet. Positively have a winning season
Rewind to the first half of 2018/2019 if you want to know what it's going to look like with Lamb and an UDFA as our starters. Dak has shown, for years, that he can't carry the burden.

Add to that the fact that Zeke is worn down. Come on. I understand wanting to be positive, but you also have to be realistic.

Like Dak got Wilson, Cobb, and Beasely paid? Do you people believe this stuff or just say things for the heck of it?
I don't know if he got Cobb paid. Aaron Rogers did that. But I agree with the other two.

Why though? What if Dennis Houston really is a good player? What if it turns out that he's a nice possession WR where, if you need a first down, throw it to him. Why should he not be that player?

Love the term they used on ESPN this morning. “Untrained eye”.

that’s exactly what these guys have.

LOL.

How quickly people forget that Beasely (UDFA) had his best season in Dallas with Dak.
Why didn't Dak do that with Brice Butler or Allen Hurns or Lance Lenoir or any of the other scrubs he's played with?

Viewing this team with rose colored glasses leads to nothing but disappointment. It's not being a hater to acknowledge that Dak needs a ton of talent around him to be successful.
