CD is a #2 who needs to play slot just to get open.[/QUOTE
He's the best receiver OU ever had, and now he's stuck with checkdown Charlie. He's not a #2.

Dak doesn't know what to do with a #1,v add we've seen.

lol this is incredibly shortsighted and flat out dumb. guys been all we could ask for.would be like if i said “you don’t give a blank check to a guy who gets stiff armed to the ground by a wr in the biggest game of the season”
I could easily ask for more.

Please don't easily lead the NFL in receiving yards given up and penalties by a DB, see? lol

I don't think that's too much to ask for, do you?

He has A LOT he needs to improve. You guys have tunnel vision on the INTs.

nah i’m not even talking about the picks i’m talking about the silliness of caring about a pre season drill. it’s dumb. he’s the best 2nd round pick we’ve had in ages, at one of the most important positions in football. but yes if we’re going to discuss and dissect the picks, he got them! there’s no glossing over that whatsoever and there’s no tunnel vision required in acknowledging what an incredible feat that is. dallas has been downright horrendous in takeaways for years and here we have a revelation in that dept and you want to focus on the negative? lol something else

for the record though, thoughts on micah vs 9ers?

Tunnel vision 100%

Look at the INTs, but whatever you do don't look anywhere else.

Thoughts on Micah vs the 49ers? Bad just like everyone else. A loser performance.

11 INTs gets you a lot of things.

It gets you 1st team all pro while ignoring that you easily lead the league in passing yards given up. He also lead the league in penalties for a CB.
He also has 35 passes defenced in 28 games. 14 total ints.

Took Jalen Ramsey 7 games into his 7th season to get 14 ints...has 15 for his career.

But go on...

He needs to get better in coverage and if you don't agree then you don't care about this team's success, only player box scores.

Just think of how many drives were extended, 1st downs given up, time taken off the clock because of the yards and penalties by Diggs..... He needs to get better before anybody pays him top money, because right now, he's just a one trick pony.

Sacrifices will have to be made to pay these contracts. I think they let Diggs walk. If CeeDee does well this year, he'll get paid well. When his turn comes up, Micah is getting paid! You know the Jones boys are extending Dak when his time comes.

gotcha disingenuous projection. carry on
What?

You thought I would ignore Micah's bad performance, didn't you?

I don''t play that game. You play bad and you get criticized. I'm not like ya'll with your excuse riddled monologues trying to defend your favorite players bad play.

CeeDee and Micah get paid.

Diggs is Anythony Henry. Getting torched in camp by the way. If he went accept reasonable....bye.

I can almost see another Asomugha situation with Diggs. He gets good stats playing in the East but if he went as a highly paid free agent to the NFC West or AFC West his results might mirror Nnamdi’s. They got some slingers in that AFC West that could expose him to an even higher degree

glad to have him but not sure about paying the cost to resign him.

So people are already to kick Diggs to the curb based on one rep of a WR vs DB drill with no pass rush. Now I see how some fans can be embarrassing.

Better in coverage huh?

Sure, he gave up 909 yards according to profootballreference. The GREAT Jalen Ramsey game up 624 yards in 5 less targets. 285 yard difference.

However, he did give up 4 tds last year and the GREAT Ramsey only gave up 3.

Here is one that was the difference:

As you can see, horrible coverage and it was in a REALLY tight game.

Here is another where Diggs had great position and the Safety made a horrible play. HORRIBLE.

By my Calculations that is 2 Tds and about 125 yards that "Diggs" gave up.

So ridiculous.

You did all that work for nothing.

You won't change my mind with your excuses and blame placed on others.

Diggs is the only one that will change my mind.

Oh i know, you use the useless "yards given up" number and base your whole opinion on it. It is amazing.

I literally just watched him dominate McClaurin in week 14 last year and the only pass he gave up to him was when they were up 56-7 and Diggs was playing 10 yards off...that's 15 more!!!!!! You got him now!

I wonder how many of those he gave up last year considering they had a lot of blowouts both ways.....

Just for clarification reasons...

Is corner not harder to find than WR? Or is CeeDee that talented to you?(I think CeeDee is awesome and has the ability to be a top receiver in this league)

If Diggs shows ability to snag INT's again...what kind of flaws would prevent you from signing him over CeeDee? Reluctance to tackle? Taking too many risks?

Genuinely curious.

Your questions are reasonable , I’ll answer this way. The NFL today is built on offense, the rules are bent this way. Dak is a good not great QB. He needs all the help and a number 1 WR (if CD can be that though I have my doubts) is a must for us.

Regarding defense and Diggs, 2 things: I think that Diggs can be a really really good CB but not a shut down CB. If he’s the next Deion then I pay him. I think he will fetch a couple of rd 1 picks Or a 1&2 and we can draft another young CB. The second thing in defense is that I believe defense is built by great front 7 and great safety play. I’d rather have great players on front 7 than one really really good CB

Actually just the opposite.........you have tunnel vision on CBs giving up yards. As mentioned earlier, IF the yards were so critical as you claim, why did coaches and players vote him to all ALL PRO? Hell, I actually agree he has a lot to improve but to minimize the impact of his interceptions is wrong, plain, and simple. The ALL PRO voting proves that.......

Yet WE are caught up on interception? OK to be wrong sometime, it happens.

Micah is the only “must pay” out of the three. You’d like to pay Diggs and Ceedee as well and if Diggs repeats his 2021 season I’d pay him before Ceedee but that’s a big ask.
