Not about that, I just respect coaches that get it and do it right. I didn't like the Rams, but I really liked Coach Vermeil....I actually tried to pattern my style after him in my younger days.

I actually became a fan of his when he was with the Rams....I rooted for them back then, it was a great story. As a coach, I had many mentors and many coaches that I looked up to. He was one of them
I was very emotionally invested in my players... 6'4" 280lbs and was able to connect emotionally with my guys....it was a great feeling. I had over 800 former players wish me happy birthday this June....not because I was a prick, but because a cared.
