swap out for a different UDFA, say maybe Ethan Ratke for instance
He is fairly decent I kicked a 50+ yarder in High school then missed a 40 yarder later in the game I kicked bare footed and old school not soccer style 4 steps straight behind the ball I also managed to pull off a 65 yard punt bare footed

Kickers missing all camp and now missing from 30 yards is major red flags.

The only real solution is to bring in a 3rd guy with Veteran experience. I would call up New England for a low round trade for their K.
Just another business decision that has gone sideways! Didn't invest any free agents who can come in and dominate and now there are two kickers in camp that couldn't make anyone's team except the Dallas Cowboy's team. What next from the Bule Light Special bin JJ?

Can you put this in context or supply a link that better explains what you're talking about?

The Cowboys used to have some of the best kickers in NFL history when it came to accuracy.

The Cowboys are one of 32 teams in the NFL and there has to be more than 31 kickers im this world who can make a field goal on a consistent basis.

Back in the 70's when the Cowboys needed a kicker, they didn't look at the college players alone. They looked even further than the northern hemisphere.

In 1971 the Cowboys signed an Austrian soccer player, Toni Fritsch. At the time he signed a contract, he couldn't even speak English. In his first start he kicked a winning field goal against the St Louis Cardinals as the Cowboys won 16-13. During the play, Cardinal players were trying to distract him by taunting. They learned later than Toni didn't understand a single word they said.

Remember that classic Cowboy playoff game when Staubach came in down by three scores and pulled it out against the 49ers? That was only made possible by a perfectly executed onside kick by Fritsch. He used a "rabona" or soccer style cross kick that took the ball in the opposite direction of where it looked like he was kicking towards.

These Cowboys need to come up with an innovative way to acquire a field goal kicker.

Why do they only bring two kickers to camp? Why do they keep a kicker more than a week if they show signs of inconsistency? Wouldn't it make more sense to cut him and bring in another until they find the right guy?

Why didn't we just draft dicker the kicker out of Texas? We would have had stability at that position for years to come.

I found and am pasting this tweet below from last years training camp....12 for 12....and we let him walk after EVERY extra point in that Atlanta game went dead straight down the middle if you remember like I do....sickening!!!

--------Cowboys are signing kicker Lirim Hajrullahu after he went a perfect 12-for-12 on field goals in his workout today, source said. Brett Maher also had a strong day, but Hajrullahu receives nod with Greg Zuerlein (COVID-19 protocol) unlikely to be available Sunday vs. Falcons.

There are a few kickers from Japan that Ive been watching through the X-League. They and Rourke (QB from BC for a backup QB spot here) should be brought in for workouts.

That is why I've been adamant on here for years for the Cowboys to scout the Japanese X-League for kickers. They might be surprised at what they find.

He's been doing poorly, apparently, in TC. He wears number 9 atm.

jones boys didnt like him evidently. not one team drafted him!
Rams grabbed him as udfa lol, while jones boys were playing on their yacht !
here are some details on him

The New York Post ranked the top specialists in the 2022 NFL draft and Dicker was viewed as the No. 2 kicker, landing just behind York. What makes Dicker more attractive is his ability to double as a punter and kicker if needed.

Dicker finished his collegiate career at Texas as the program’s career leader in total points as a kicker. He accumulated 386 points in 49 games
(7.8 pts per game), which also ranks as the third-most among any position in Texas history.

The former Longhorn landed fourth in program history with a career field goal accuracy at 75.9%, making 60 of 79 field goals over four years.

Cowboys aka Jones boys could have taken him in round 7, but evidently had no thoughts about a good kicker at the time lol.

I'd rather have Greg the Leg still on the team than these losers. They should have held on to him until they had a better kicker.

Consistency is key in kicking!
