I'm concerned about the offense period, not just the line, but it starts there of course.

Logic dictates they aren't going to be as good as recent years, and Dak tends to panic, and may not trust his WR just yet....

I know it's Kool aid season but it's tough not be real about that.

The defense on the other hand.....big things this year kids. Big things. Large.

They're practicing Dak under pressure.
:laugh:That's when the offensive linemen stands up, gets in the d lineman's way, then lets them go by... to see how that handles it.

This line has really regressed under Philbin.
I kept saying we need a new O-Line coach. His blocking schemes seem to be zone blocking. We were a power blocking team. We would occasionally zone on pass plays. Reminds me of the bengals coach we hired that started changing things. Had to fire him and bring in Colombo. I doubt Colombo would come back..

We’ll they tried to block the two DEs with TEs and looks like they pulled the LT to block Parsons which isn’t going to work. It was also a fake run roll out. The RG also held. The good new is the defense is looking good. It could have been designed to show the defense how to defend that play. It’s hard to tell.

the defense is ahead OF THE OFFENSE RIGHT NOW, win sone you lose some..its not a concern,..you have rookie LG and Steele Ful time RT coming ion and trying to gel..im also betting Tyrone is playing much either,, who were the 5 in this line that series.?? i mean come on its practice its camp and its not a huge deal. Yet.

it does show whats been happening to Dak/zeke and that offense especially in the 9er game dak gets blamed for..i mean if they aren't holding, they are having dak run right from the snap.

its kind of hard to run or throw with a OL like that,,its god our defense is dominating at times shows the offensive coaches there's a lot of work to do before a real game is played.
This maybe a good thing for our O-Line. Our Defense is going to be very good this year. Maybe sharpen them. But this O-Line coach needs to go.

The defense, not the offense has been kept us from the promised land. Let the D eat.

Should have been replaced. I actually thought he might have been when we got those stories about how Jerry was pissed. I figured McCarthy would survive but maybe a bit of staff shake up. Instead, Jerry brought everyone back. LOL.
Is crazy. I heard they brought in a O-Line assistant that was supposed to be pretty good. Wondering if this O-Line don’t get better then he maybe gone. He should have been. This is on MM. JJ has his hands in things but generally let’s his HC handle the line coaches. His buddy philibin is hurting the team.

Just one day but this was sloppy.....

Come on mang...That's an RPO.

  • RPO: Run-Pass Option
    • Most or all blockers run block.
    • Some receiver run pass routes.
    • The QB decides to hand-off or pass.
    • The LDE (might have been DLaw) didn't bite on the run and was right there when Dak was going to roll out to that side.
    • If defenders don't bite on the run play then there will be some unblocked or minimally blocked pass rushers.

If it's anything like the protection in the playoffs, I don't want it.

Defense made the right call. Dak should have handed off or ran himself. He had a run option before the injury that would flip to Elliot or take it himself. Dak could take it over Tyrons side and be 5 yards up field before touched or now will likely slide.

Just a continuation of what we saw against San Francisco in the playoffs. Dak was sacked 5 times in that game. The arrows continue to point at this being a bumpy season for the Cowboys.
