Your answers sound so tormented.
What happened in your life that it made you so hardened and humorless mate ?

I went to the Tractor and Lorry Show in 1998. Your sis, a hostess there, ditched me and took off with 3 ruffians from Manchester, never to be heard again. Well, I was disillusioned and it took years to forget her and her ... charms.
Years passed and she sent me a letter seeking forbearance and grace. I ignored her letter but it took an emotional toll. Evelyn your sister ended up working in a Singapore laundry with 6 kids from 3 yahoos.
I never forgot tha.
Evilynn, I hope, did not give up her taxidermy licence and your fam I hope is doing well under court supervision.

Zeke has past his prime. Give to ball to Pollard more and see this team excel.

The only reason why Zeke plays more is because of Jerry forcing coaches to play him more. Not because of production.
If you were fair with zeke...you would have seen him start last year vibrant and fresh.

Then he got injured. You do know that right? I sincerely hope you didn't.

And they asked him to play hurt anyway.

But according to you...."past prime".

Meanwhile...when we DID give Zeke the ball....our center gets pushed into Dak before the handoff.

Pollard runs different plays. We didn't ask him to run up the middle very often. We put him in space...as well we should that;s where he excels.

Tony was never a starting RB in college, nor has he been in the NFL. He even hurt himself in limited duty last year. You are gonna ask him to block for our o-line? Then what? Both he AND Dak go down?

We have a great tandem....we should rejoice. Instead we got people like you...that think they know football by proclaiming zeke's demise.

Well we all have had our bad experiences in life, hadn't we?
But its how we decide to handle them, so we can be a social, beloved, gentle, gorgeous and healthy person again.

It makes me sad to see that you decided to not do anything about it and let your life be influenced by them.
Besides that humorless, hardened guy your choice turned you into it seems you are also dependent on the feeling to diminish others.

I wish you all the best for your future my dear old friend.
First and foremost the strength to face all your problems so you are able to finally get rid of all that hate and anger that seems to control you.

Give a healthy Zeke 25 plus caries a game and he will lead the league in rushing and greatly increase our chances of winning.

I actually agree with this. Maybe not lead the league if Henry is healthy, but for sure increase are chances of winning. Moore gets too impatient for that though. If I’m them and he’s healthy I’m going Murray carry level on him in what should be his last season here.

I worry about the #3 RB, not the #1. If Zeke (or Pollard) gets injured, the team will wish they had used a mid-round pick on depth.

I think for many, it's not about believing in Zeke or not. It's more to do with the contract and ramifications it has on the overall team.

If Elliott's cap hit was $3 million this year, I suspect few would have issues with him. The problem is he has a ridiculous cap hit and that clearly hinders the Cowboys in being able to be a bit more aggressive in FA.

I suspect Zeke will be be fine and if the OL plays well early, the running game with Zeke and Pollard should be effective. But the problem that many have is that it appears you can get what we will likely get out of Elliott for a fraction of the cost.

12 rushes, 31 yards in a home playoff game.

That’s what we’re paying for.

Lets start with NOT abandoning the run when a team goes full coverage, they will see this shceme and they need to figure out how to get a run game going against 5-6 man fronts...so to me one box is checked Zeke and TP are not injured..thats good thats seems to be when this started last year so thats a good sign. Second lets hope they dont set a league record in OL penalties..no run game flourishes when you start off 1st and 20..second very fixable thing...the rest is on KM and the OL coaches lets see if they can get better.

Zeke will never lead the league in anything as long as Moore is calling plays. I think 1200 yards on about 250 carries or so is about the ceiling for him in this system with Pollard getting about 700-800 yards on about 150 carries or so. That's the system they want to run so I think we just have to accept it. To be fair Zeke may not be able to hold up for a full season at 20+ carries a game at this stage in his career anyway so while the reduced workload is diminishing his value and his Hall of Fame chances, it's actually probably extending his career. My only hope is that he stays healthy enough to help us win the 11-12 games we're supposed to win and is healthy heading into the playoffs. A bye week would be nice too but probably out of question with our schedule.

"We?" Which one of the Joneses are you? Dude played on one leg in a game where the offensive line got its collective arse whupped. It's a miracle he got that much. No back is running wild when the line is getting blown up. Even a healthy Zeke would have had a tough time against that. Especially if he was only going to get 12 stinkin carries. Basically 3 totes per quarter offers no chance whatsoever to establish any kind of rhythm running the ball or to find which matchup, if any, we were winning up front with any regularity.

So he was injured but still insisted on getting 18 carries the week before? In a meaningless game? Just so he could reach 1,000 yards?

Selfish AND anemic.

Don’t blame the OL just because Pollard’s clearly the better runner. The OL wasn’t terrible vs SF but our RB sure was.

Okay. “Zeke was hurt” is the excuse.

Now tell us why Zeke, while injured, insisted on 18 carries in a MEANINGLESS Week 18 game at Philly... just so he could reach 1,000 yards.

Being as fresh as possible for the PLAYOFFS wasn’t his #1 priority... his stats were his #1 priority.

Anemic, overpaid AND selfish. Great combo.

This team will be better if it can lean on Zeke no question about it. Even if Dak takes the next step in his own development and breaks into that elusive upper tier of QBs, the TEAM still will be better if Zeke is closer to his unstoppable self than the peg leg we watched after week 5 last year.
