With our brutal beginning with Bucs and Bengals at home it’s very likely we could start 0-2. Which shouldn’t be alarming . I’d be very surprised to win either of these games.

The good news is we have NY and Wash following . And then Rams and at Philly. But then it gets much easier after that with Lions and Bears.

5-3 or worse case scenario 4-4 at the bye puts us in good shape down the stretch to contend for division and playoffs.

9 or 10 wins still keeps us in contention for division and playoffs which for basically a retooling season about all we can hope for. And we’ll need to stay relatively healthy . If we over achieve it could be better but we’ll have to upset some teams we won’t be favored to win. I think 10-7 is a good goal.

Calling it now - the Cowboys can win either 0 games or up to 2 games their first two.

Where are the days like in 2019 when we started with Giants, Fins, and D.C. oh those were the days the DOG-Glory days.......
I wouldn't underestimate the Lions as I see us losing to this young bunch of hungry Lions.
Guess we gotta start proving what we're made of early this season......GL to us!

I saw in one of the Dak trolls thread they were already suggesting to bash Dak if we start 0-2.

I’m not sure why we’d be expected to beat either one.

I don't think either team looks at us like an automatic win either. Will it happen? Odds are probably better that we don't win both, but I don't think either team is that much better then the Cowboys. Dak is going to have to really step up his play this season though. I'm not his biggest fan by any means, but I do think he can be the QB for a SB winning team. I'm just excited to watch some Cowboys football again!

And they could also start 2-0 or 1-1 too

If we start out 5-3 or 4-4 the Cowboys brass should be publicly drawn and quartered for the off-season.

I don't think we will ..... I think worse case is 6-2 ...... If less than that happens this board will rain blood.

It's funny, but you'd 100% be one of the first to call others "trolls" for making a thread like this.

Suggesting we only beat the bad teams and lose to all the good ones would be "trollish" behavior according to you.

Hey bro, how's Jalen doing in training camp? Think he's your guys future QB? I don't have time to wonder off to your guys board so I figured asking you saves me time.

Still too early to tell.

Brady loss one of his starting and best offensive linemen, so that is going to hurt.
I don't think Goodwin will be ready.
Leonard Fournette weighs about 330 lbs, so they might move him to guard. ;)
No Gronk - unless he pulls a last-minute surprise, and even then he won't be ready.
If not for Brady, I'd feel confident we'd win that one.

I think we take Cincinnati.
I just feel the Bengals are going to fall back to the pack. They peaked too early - kind of like the 49ers after their first Super Bowl.
The Bengals are moving in the right direction; I just think they step back this year.

So I don't think it's out of the realm of possibilities we go 2-0.
I just don't have confidence in this ownership or this coaching staff (outside of Quinn).

But we shall see in about a month.

It's amazing how the Cowboy Nation can give a pass to Dakota "Toad Hunter" Prescot every time he loses to an above average opponent. Personally, I'm sick and tired of watching this overpaid underachieving QB struggling against decent competition! If after the first two games he's 0-2 then MM needs start another QB, bench the Toad Hunter and start Rush.
