I was just messin.. I watched him at TCU so was very familiar with the young man already. I was surprised when he didn't get drafted but I had not followed all that off the field stuff at all. As a fellow vertically challenged fellow (I am 5'7") I always root for the little guys to make it. Turpin's speed will be great but it's his quickness and change of direction that will make him a force in the NFL. The ability to stop on a dime and be going the opposite direction of the defender in the blink of an eye will give him a chance to make hay without ever really getting blown up. There are lots of guys in the NFL with comparable speed as him. But there are only a handful with his kind of quickness and agility. And thankfully for him, almost none of them play defense.

I agree its in no way a given he will be a playmaker but man I hope the OC makes a real effort to see if he can because he is special with the ball in his hands...now avoiding Minor league and NCAA defenders is much diferent than NFL for sure ....

Reminds me of the Super Gnat, Noland Smith, from KC back in the day. He was like a water bug and actually shorter than Turpin at 5'6".

Both Turpin & Brown are showing signs of speed & progress. Dallas will be just fine until Gallup returns.

Mr Turpin has played football for a while and I'm guessing he is smart enough to know not to put his head down and take on a Mr Parsons. He's survived this long...Shirley he will show us couch sitters a thing or three.

Go Cowboys!

Damn.. two things jumped out at me watching that play.. 1) Dak's ball placement was on point.. and 2) That ball got there in a hurry. The stories about improved velocity appear to have been confirmed.

Kid looks fast but little

Little is putting it lightly. He's tiny. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't but I worry what's going to happen when contact starts. Maybe he's small enough to just bounce off everything. Like a toddler, I guess. They don't really get hurt because they don't have enough mass to cause significant damage when they fall.
