Issac Alarcon is a physical guy

The dude is obviously not an actual cowboys fan. He disguises Cowboy-bashing threads as “Diamond in the rough” hype threads, but the Diamond is always a guy who’s 6th on the depth chart and in danger of getting cut before week 1. In using Alacron, all he’s really doing is insulting the Cowboys’ current starters.

Go look at his threads about the WR corps, it’s the same thing. Picks a random name at the very back of the 90 man roster, uses it to bash current starters disguised as a “he’s better than you think!” Thread.

He did it all last year with that one Dlineman he claimed was going to make DLaw lose his job, and the guy was awful

The current offensive line up so far have prove to lack physicality and the depth chart needs to be shaken up.

McGovern is exclusive a backup center & guard. The team needs to move Issac up the depth chart as backup LG, RG & swing tackle. He has the attitude, size & strength to shakeup the OL and create a culture change.

With the giant size 6’-7” 330 lbs he is the Cowboys version of Jordan Davis in the OL.
Bradlee Anae about to get cut from his 2nd team since being drafted.

LOL. Your eye for talent is incredible.

He is not slow footed.

We'll learn if the staff agrees with you on that. If they deem him to be OK, they'll likely keep him around.

If not, we'll see what happens. His time period to be given the opportunity to make the team lies ahead.

Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself in saying he's slow footed. The staff makes those decisions, not me.

Agreed -

Dude is a troll and a fan of another NFCE team. So obvious it's teetering on the absurd now.

You bought into the Hard Knocks hype. He may not even make the team. It's only the exception that kept him on the team.

you couldn't be more wrong

unfortunately, these posts have been occurring every off season since we got him in 2020 a whole year before Hard Knocks

I think you mean that he has measurables, which he does. Physicality is blended with good technique on the field, though. I see where you're coming from, that he seems to fit the prototype.

He may be a patriots fan, he often uses them as examples of “how to do it”, and in a previous thread said the team the cowboys need to trade for a kicker had to be NE

Alaracon doesn't get off at the snap quik enough last I heard
Either thinking too much yet as line calls made....or just poor reaction time
Might be better out at tackle ...more on a island as far as calls
But stunts etc might get Dak hurt

It's not the big that eat the small....it's the big and quik that eat the slow

Unfortunately, size is all he has. The dude needs to have skills and maybe with more time and BETTER coaching he may be able to handle the Donalds in the NFL, but at this point and time he's just not ready to step in.

He has great size, but size doesn't always equate to being an effective lineman. I hope he is able to improve, but this is year 3 now so I'm not sure he has it in him

Based on what? The same OL coach
We'll see about that -- I have this crazy theory that he's so tall that it takes lotsa time for his brain's message to get to his feet. :muttley:

Still better than flat footed Connor McGovern who can’t pull a yard without falling and weak Connor Williams who can’t get through a press by the DT.

Good call -- I'm still wondering if all three of them might be around after the final cuts, though. You just can't make this stuff up! :D
