So, on a scale from 1 - 10, how screwed are we this season?
This teams ceiling is 9-8 and a first round exit. Nothing has changed since letting 3 of your best players go and doing nothing to replace them.

Even worse when you let the Cedric Wilsons of the world go and you can’t even replace him!

Maybe Tolbert has athleticism we haven’t seen but he looks like just another solid guy. Wilson was a beast after the catch.

RE is also a big concern to me. Fowler apparently has no brain after committing an unsportsmanlike when it’s 3rd and goal at the 1

..Typical Dallas game...Rookies or not...Sloppy Secondary play, Bad O-Line and QB play, and all those F***ing penalties again....I know it's only a Pre-Season game...2nd string depth ....But are the Cowboys ever gonna be a good team again???...SMH!

Common denominator is horrible backup QB's. Its why we always lose. These clowns with bad Oline play simply cant score any points. Its that simple.

But that is also coaching. If you dont respect the backup QB position, this is what happens.

If ANY of you expected anything different from Rush and our backup Oline, then you were kidding yourselves. It was the EXACT same thing last year.

i rarely agree with (or take the time to even read) what you say, but that’s actually a good point.

Maybe Grier will make it a little more respectable next week.

A few observations:

1) Outside of a couple of ticky penalties and not IDing the right player to block on one play, Tyler Smith has been solid.

2) Jalen Tolbert has looked like a rookie receiver. It's hard to tell a lot as poorly as we're throwing the ball, but it doesn't appear that his routes have been that good, and he can't drop one of the few good passes by Rush.

3) Nahshon Wright is more physical, but doesn't seem to have real good awareness.

4) If we don't pick up a swing tackle, then the plan has to be for Tyler Smith to be that guy.

5) Players I liked other than Tyler Smith: Steele didn't have any problems the short time he was in there; Gallimore and Bohanna each showed some power in the middle of the D; Bland was strong in closing on short passes; Houston probably showed the most of the receivers, but it was hard to tell much from our passing game; Ferguson blocked and caught well; Fowler got some pressure, but he should against second-teamers.

This goes back to the Campo years. This team is utter garbage in preseason year and year out

And it just carries over into the season.....It needs to change. It starts with attitude.....and putting in the work...rather than just lip service.

LOL..........Cedric Wilson? :lmao::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2:

We are surely doomed without the great Cedric Wilson. Thank you for that laugh.

Multiple coaches and multiple players and we are always the most penalized ream. Smells like fish.

So Smith isn’t our starting LG?
