With Pollard get an increase in snaps, I'm betting the RB3 for the Cowboys sees some playing time. So they better be good.

He had some nice burst. But is is a right of passage this time of year of a guy who won't make the roster who comes in and looks good at the end of a preseason game. It appears every team has them and rue when they get cut only to never to be heard from again.

Loved Davis vision and making guys miss while going up field.

Definitely will pay attention next week and see if his play improves.

I was impressed with Davis in camp. He looked very good to me as a receiver out of the backfield. He actually look like he has a chance as the 3rd back.

Davis knows how to find the holes. I wish he was more explosive once he gets to the 2nd level.

Exactly.

Some of the holes he ran through, Pollard would have had a touchdown.
There was something missing from his runs. It seems he should have had far more yards.
He left a lot of, er, meat on the bone.

Is it just me or does Dowdle look like a different player suddenly?

He looks like a 3rd down back to me. He has the inside track of UDFAs, no doubt.

Shampklin looked good as well.

He looked pretty good last preseason before the injury. Looked like a lock before he went down.

The diff between a udfa and a 4th red pik imo

He looked like a thinner dude.

I think he is a lock at RB3. Looking forward to seeing him get a shot. I know he was pretty good in college. SC I think.

Can Malik Davis tackle? Dowdle has the edge over Davis and Shampklin due to his special teams play. The 3rd RB has to play kick coverage on most teams. Just food for thought.
