I highly doubt he thinks he is threatened. Grier should easily win the number 2 spot though.

Rush has never been able to get out of the quick sand, and he bombed in his season audition, time to role with next in line.

What we saw Saturday night was not due to Grier possibly bypassing Rush in camp. It was Rush sucking big time. Not sure why he is still in camp if you are right that his skills have deteriorated that badly.

You just wonder if Grier has a big performance against the Chargers what Dallas will do opening the season against the Bucs.

There's a lot to be decided yet.

Hopefully Grier has grown as a player
He’s played a couple of nfl games but not much success
He has some talent but being an nfl QB requires more than just talent

Well he should be as sharp as last season at least. To young to deteriorate I think. May not have practiced this offseason as much as he should. Or a bad game. Lol. I bet he steps it up a notch. Or else he will lose spot. Grier looks better than last year. Or in the limited time I saw.

frankly, i am surprised that the cowboys have totally neglected the backup qb role. They have historically, over the past decade, had a good backup with the exception of a couple of instances.
