Kind of hilarious.
And we are in the majority to react to headlines rather than the content and Threads go multiple pages of ignorance because no one wants to read the entirety of an article that goes against said headline.

Simpletons and sheep, I hate to say.

That's what I was thinking about Garibay, as well.

He was also a punter. His average punt was a yard more than Anger's.

I just don't think he has the accuracy.

By that logic: our current kickers are a guy who stinks in Harrelaju and a kicker who was a FA at the start of camp which is worse than getting cut first wave.


I’m not saying Dicker is the answer. But him being cut by a team that already has a good kicked and punter doesn’t mean he may not be better than our current guys.

I don’t see how wanting the cowboys to bring in a talented young rookie to give a try is being a sheep.

I mean there are guys on the 85 man roster right now that everyone knows will not be on the final roster anyway. There is literally zero to lose.

if you give Dicker a chance for a couple weeks and then cut him anyway. No loss.

I’m just suggesting simple bottom of the roster churning that every team does during training camp.

Yeah work him out first. I thought that goes without saying. What I’m really suggesting is the cowboys should at least kick the tires on him.

Pretty sure dude is not the answer, but I do agree with the thought process of finding one of these guys to compete who was only recently cut because he was insurance and the team already had a solid starter, and had to start roster trimming.

Hey, I can't knock the fact that you want to bring in a kicker. I also want another kicker. I'm just not sure Dicker is the answer. He's from my alma mater, and as others have pointed out, he was only so-so at Texas. Pretty good for a college kicker, though.

You may be reading into my sarcasm too much. I wasn't attacking your idea. I'm just really low on our kicking game. I think we need a much better kicker than the guys we have now so I'm with you on bringing in more talent, churning the roster.
