I would do it, but make sure you can pay Micah more next year. The only thing is the defense is already good and you never know what needs pop up during the season. So I see why they would not do it. It makes more sense to not do a trade.

Yeah, I didn’t, but I remember it being said.
I said that Parsons was well worth it IF they were going to send him after the QB… and I said that before they made the pick as well as after. Micah was really good at getting after the QB in college, so I felt like he could do it in the NFL.

But I agree completely… good thing fans aren’t making these decisions.
There is one particular poster who can never say they were wrong. And compound their need for validation by saying "12 other teams passed on him too so I am right. But if I had known he could rush the QB he wouldnt have been there at 12."

Anyone who watched the Cotton Bowl knew Parsons could get after the QB at an elite level. This poster just has no ability to admit they were wrong. Ever. lol.

Either way. Even Jerry tried to mess it up by trading out of the spot. Thank God Philly and NYG didnt snag him. However. If I was Jones. No way was I trading 10th overall to a division rival for simply a 3rd. I would have fleeced them.

Haha, I know exactly who you’re talking about.

He said… well, he said a lot about Micah that he probably regrets. He was spectacularly wrong.

osa, gallimore and golston 1st
Watkins, bohanna, hill 2nd team.

instead of Barr you start Lawrence

Hmmm could work, I think Tank would make an excellent 3/4 DE though, with his current pay your not really overpaying what he would be asked to do either...its the other DE we need to find. Osa might work ...kick Fowler back to OLB..again though its all for about 15 plays in todays NFL if that, the base D just does not see the field much anymore.

Nope. Doesnt regret it. Even after the RDPOY award (something I predicted before we even drafted him mind you) he still said. "Well 11 other teams believed the same way I do" lol

The guys a narcissist.

Teams that are actually trying win championships might consider this move

Maybe if we wanted to trade them LVE and a pick. Championship teams usually fix their holes, not areas where they are already pretty strong.

That’d be like a Giants fan saying Lawrence Taylor is over rated, lol.

If we trade for Roquan, I'm throwing away my Cowboys jerseys. It's the stupidest move we could make.

For one, Roquan wants to be drastically overpaid. He wants Darius Leonard, Fred Warner type money and he couldn't carry those dudes' pads to practice. He's a decent player who's definitely earned a starting job in the league, but he wants top 3 Pro Bowler game changer money, and I don't even think he's better than Kearse. No way you give Kearse $20M a season, but I guess Roquan thinks he can sell that with his top 10 draft pick and "Chicago 'backer" pedigree . Signing Roquan for something like 4 years $75M would be a Zeke level horrible contract.

For another, even if Roquan was worth that money, we don't have the cap room to take him on. We just cut Amari over $20M, we're not adding dudes for $20M.

And finally, and we're pretty set at linebacker anyway. Kearse and Jabril already fill that safety-backer type role, and tweeners like that are cheap to find. You might pay a premium for a game changer, but Roquan's just not that dude.

I don’t think it’s going to happen… but if it does… IF… can I have your jerseys?

The only reason to trade for hi is that he is on a good contract. Trade for him and give him some massive deal? Uhhhh no thanks who does he think he is Tom Brady?
