why wait till the last game...by then they will be like 4-12...terrible team, possible bad weather...what fans will show up for that. should have done it the first home game. at least fans are optimistic and weather should be good.

There will be 80% Cowboys fans there to celebrate Sonny's number retirement.

You can't make this stuff up.

He does their game calls on the radio. He is a buffoon. Makes my skin crawl. He makes Jason Witten sound like John Madden. I know the guy is like 100 and another reason why he shouldn't be on air.

+1 ........not many divisional opponent players I flat out didn't like but he and Billy Kilmer were two. (lol)

They will be fired up to get the victory.

But at that point we will be 16-0.

Sonny Jurgensen's been with the franchise 55 years (player + being the radio analyst).
Was enshrined in HOF four decades ago (1983).
And there just now retiring his jersey number.
And it will be under the new team name, instead of the old one he played for and distinguished himself as a great NFL QB.

I will look forward to embarrassing the Washington Red Football Team Commanders (or whatever they’re called these days) on their home field that day. Sometimes that Wash whatever team is still my most hated rival. Going back to the early 70s.

Staubach and Jurgensen both missed most of 1972. Had 1 or both been at full strength I highly doubt Miami would have had that perfect season we are forced to hear about for the rest of our lives. They barely got by weak AFC playoff opponents and had to face Billy Kilmer in the SB and barely won that. Staubach OR Jurgensen would have had their way with Miami. It was my first full year as a fan and I kept a scrapbook, it is etched in my mind forever.

Can’t stand that loser.
The only foreskin that I hate worse is Theisman.
Two arrogant windbags.
I can’t wait to watch Wentz this year doing what he does best though, being an absolute garbage QB for a horrible team.
I’m sure after this year, even the foreskins will admit enough is enough with Wentz and he will go away.
Even though I’m sure Risen’s man crush on him will continue.
Go Cowboys!
