I think this changes between now and start of season however it is hard to take this as a ringing endorsement of Tyler's progress. Particularly when McGovern is so meh. And I am a Tyler fan.

I can tell who is reported to start, despite returning from a foot injury...TYLER LINDERBAUM. So suck on that Booger, Chuckles, and so called genius Will McClay. You screwed the pooch again....99% of us knew this on Draft Day!!!

If McGovern starts MM isn't trying to coach in Dallas anymore. You had a plug and play in Linderbaum sitting right there

This speaks volumes to the quality of coach that Philbin is. If they’re saying Smith’s not ready due to the mental aspect, then what exactly has Philbin doing this entire time? If MM says Smith needs the reps, then why have they been splitting time in practice? This wreaks of poor coach/power struggle from whose wanted to draft smith vs those who didn’t.

Now you are moving the goal post. You said you hadn't seen one play in McGovern 4 year career. As for Smith, one drive does not a starter make. I think you are just willfully missing the evidence that contradicts you.

Sounds like McGovern is getting a look at center in the last preseason game. It will be interesting how that unfolds. But just get the best players on the field.

Biadsz has been a pretty clean snapper, but doesn't get much movement while blocking. Curious how MvGovern does snapping, because he may be a better blocker.
