So connect the dots for me.

Jerry sucks as a GM but apparently he built a team oozing with talent and ready to make a run? So how's he a bad GM again if he built a team we shouldn't quit on that's good enough to make a run?

He did say that teams scout us for games by reading CowboysZone posts. I wouldn't hold my breath for a coherent response

95% of Zoners have already given up on the season. “Jerry wasn’t prepared for Tyron going down.” “Jerry didn’t address the WR position.” Jerry didn’t do this or that. The fact is, Jerry doesn’t do any of that. It’s Will McClay and the coaching staff who address personnel decisions.

If you’ve paid attention to OTA’s, Mini Camps, training camp, inter-squad practices and preseason games you would see that the Cowboys are going to be a power running attack team. At least, initially. This is because teams like Tampa Bay are going to dare Dak to throw the ball. They figure that playing a rookie at LT, a JAG at LG, a JAG at C, a HOF at RG and a JAG at RT is a recipe for a win. They think all of this because of Zoner posters. You couch potatoes have no clue. There’s posters here that habitually crap on Dak, the offensive line, the coaching, Perception becomes reality.

In reality, the Cowboys are going to be a power running game. Preseason is preseason but they’ve been successful running the ball in every game. Without the starters. If you can run the ball in the NFL then your offense is going to be successful. If you can play defense like the Cowboys can with that power running offense then you can go far.

The unknown that everyone is overlooking is the QB, The many ignorant Zoners here pound their chests saying “What has he won!!!!!”. They don’t look at what he can do. They don’t look at his stats. They only look at the fact that “He hasn’t won squat”. Those are the ignorant losers who only come here to crap on Dak and or the Cowboys.

1979 called and wants their power running game back.

Power football in 2022. Wait, let’s bring back the Wing T. That’ll show ‘em!

Why the hell did we pay 40M a year for a franchise QB in an age of offensive explosion if we are going to be a power run football team? We can get Trent Dilfer to QB for the minimum. He did it once, he can do it again.

Look - You have to score points in today’s game and even if we went that direction as soon as we get behind (and we will) it puts the pressure on Dak to throw the ball more.

I’m not saying you are wrong and that’s what they might be doing but it is evidence of a total front office failure and is a terrible indictment of your favorite player.

Our Defense was playing good last night. It was there scrubs but towards the end it was ours also. I think bossman maybe cut. We were getting good play from Bland. He had a few mistakes.
To early to cut Bossman. For that matter they will keep Wright as well. Bland has solidified the backup nickel corner though. They will keep 6 corners and 5 safeties. Goodwin will get cut and brought back. I still believe if Joseph was playing better he would have been suspended by the league by now.

But hey, this team is loaded and ready to make a run, don't be a quitter!
Who has said this team is loaded and ready to make a run besides Jethro, Son and some Homers?

This roster has weaknesses throughout . Beginning on OL and WR’s on offense. And that’s assuming we want to argue if Dak is enough without all of the strong supporting cast around him. And will our RB be back to old form without a stronger OL? Many questions marks .

And defensively have we answered our issues on DL and secondary . We still gave up chunks on rushing defense finishing 19th overall defensively. Hopefully we can create turnovers again to help compensate.

But I’d argue we wouldn’t be picked to win any other division in NFC. And would be struggling for a WC slot. Not exactly what I’d describe as a team ready to make a run for anything more. Probably about 5-7th best team in NFC.

Yes, between him, his staff and the coaching staff.

Hahahahahaha

Jerry and Stephen make the decisions, not McClay. For example, it wasn't McClay who decided to pay Gregory $70 million but when he gave us the bird, then ran out and signed Fowler for $3 million. That was all Jerry and Stephen.

Right..

McClay isn’t making personnel decisions . He’s just scouting players for them.

please explain, did you mean to say playing so much inexperience is a receipe for disaster?

Also explain , how does this concept works for power running against starting caliber NFL DLs ( with real DTs and run stopping DEs , Gap responsible LBs)

I can’t understand.

That starting offensive line is a very, very good run blocking offensive line.

Please read the assessment about Ball in the 2nd and 3rd preseason game, his pass blocking is improving but run game he is losing as he is not quick enough and lunges and misses.
Tyler smith , if he starts at LG will help run game , but what about Biadaz?
Zack is of course Zack , Steele is ok .

If Tyron is healthy I would agree , this will be a good OL for run game. ( running left )
