Love this kids potential. I think once he gets on the field with teams worrying about Micah and the rest of the team and taking all of the attention away from him, he is going to come up with a couple big plays for us. Just please, please stay away from the penalties.

Cowboys drafted a BEAST in DE Sam Williams this year, and they got lucky he was still available late in the 2nd round with the 56th overall pick. Talk about a steal!

Sam Williams played most of the game tonight, and he was all over the field making plays everywhere. He had 5 total tackles (3 solo), 1 QB sack and caused 14 yards for loss against the Seahawks. He also had so many pressures and was so disruptive whenever he was out on the field, always moving and running towards the ball carrier nonstop. He is light years ahead and so much better than Randy Gregory ever was as a rookie or throughout his time as a Dallas Cowboy.

Can't wait to see Sam Williams teamed up on one edge with Micah Parsons on the other edge this season. They are going to be a menacing pass rushing duo for the Cowboys for many years to come.

:starspin:

He’s better than Gregory simply by being available to play and not at home rolling a doobie. I was never a Gregory fan. I’m glad he’s gone and his 6-8 games per season won’t be missed.

With all of their injuries, the Bucs have it way worse than Dallas in that regard.
Pretty much the whole line is gone
PAPPYDOG is running scared in another thread simply because Tom Brady went 6 for 8 for 80 yards against a Colts Defense today, even though the Bucs were held to a FG. That Colts Defense is not as good as the Cowboys Defense. It will be a similar match up of both teams having injury-depleted Olines but very good Defenses. Should be a great match up.

zoners need to keep in mind this sack was against charles cross - someone who we may have taken as our future LT and he made him look like a kid

If I had any energy I'd go back and find you saying Parsons got lucky on anything he did in the first quarter of last season...thankfully for you...I don't have the energy.

Correction: Brady went 6 for 8 for only 44 yards that ended in a FG.

"He (Sam Williams) ended the game versus the Seahawks night with his first sack, five tackles, two for a loss, a QB hit, and five additional pressures.

The big plays Williams made were at clutch times as well. His quarterback sack of Geno Smith was the eighth play of the first drive where Seattle was in the red zone just one play prior. The sack made Seattle have to settle for a 50-plus-yard field goal.

Later, on a third down run, Williams combined with cornerback Nahshon Wright for a third-down tackle on 3rd-and-1 to bring up a fourth down."

Health wise, I believe it's less dangerous than alcohol. Addiction is much less likely, I've never heard of anyone getting marijuana poisoning, and you can only get so high.

That said, driving under the influence isn't any safer.
