Dude is a HOF O-lineman. We gotta accept that if healthy these guys can play into their 40’s. Only that 1% can do it but in his prime Peters was special.

Don’t doubt he’d be the best T on the active roster.

Worth a look. He still has power, not sure he has the bend or mobility anymore. For 1 year while Tyler Smith plays OG it might be worth it. If he can play 15 games Tyron should be back.

He doesn't need to be special. He just needs to be good enough to allow the offense to function. I'll take giving up 6 sacks this year if it means not having to deal with 6 sacks a game!

why did this take so long. We play football next weekend. This should have been done the day after Tyron had his MRI and given Peters 2 weeks to prepare his body for week 1.

Can't see why anyone would have a problem with this signing. It's a clear upgrade over Tyler at LG.........not even close. Hell, if we can get 15 games from him, I would argue he's an upgrade Tyron too (LOL)

In saying this is anyone in agreement we have to go OL in the first two rounds next year in the 2023 draft....am I alone on this one ?

Ex Egal stink on him but his saving grace is he is from Queen City, Texas and probably a Cowboys fan growing up there. Bring him in and see if he has anything left in the proverbial tank. He can play guard or left tackle which makes him versatile at least. If not then they better have another vet number to ring asap.

Far and above anything we'd see this year from a combo of Smith/Ball/Waletzko..I'm all for letting Smith grow into the position but he won't be on that level for a couple years at least. I say sign Peters and let Smith grow into that type of player. Takes time and I'd rather not waste the rest of Dak's (or several others) career..
