Said it then and I will say it now, "They are idiots!" I wanted Dak to get his money for that reason; this team has been in a downward spiral since the mid 90's. Why shouldn't any player capitalize off their arrogance? Who brings in the players? Who pays the players? Fans don't mean squat, except for revenue.
To blame Zeke and Dak for their idiotic decisions is ludicrous. The Jones family were making bad decisions while these guys were in grade school.

I think they are very smart. Imagine having the most expensive sport franchise in the world without winning in almost 30 years (And not even close nor competitive). It's crazy how good they are at marketing a loosing team. Also, I think the idiots are the ones that pay for tickets. Fans are also the ones to blame. Have you ever seen a football (soccer) match of Real Madrid? Every time they loose two in arrow people gets mad at them and stop attending.

Remember, the reason they are the most valuable sports franchise is because of that stadium. First and foremost.

You act like things would be different if Dak didn't get paid. We aren't winning anything with this clownshow no matter who the QB is and I am off the Dak bandwagon now but it doesn't make a difference. We couldn't win anything with Romo and we won't win anything with whomever replaces Dak. The Cowboys are who they are. Jerry and Stephen have ruined this franchise.

They ARE idiots...while Dak is OBVIOUSLY an issue, don't act like Dallas was consistently winning playoff games from '96 - 2015 BEFORE he got here. He and Romo combined to win 3 playoff games for the team in that period...3!!!! There is only one constant in that time - Jerry and Stephen.

I think what we witnessed last night shows they’re even bigger idiots. How could a bunch of ******* fans know the OL was going to be an issue (even with the draft pick), getting rid of Amari and anointing Ceedee as the #1 was questionable, and keeping Kellen Moore as the OC would be a problem. This team has undrafted free agents and a perennial backup manning your top 4 positions at WR. In today’s NFL that’s ridiculously stupid! Top that off with a TE who is even more unathletic than Witten (if that’s even possible). Your kick returner didn’t even play in the league last year???? He should be pushing for playing time at WR. The front office is just flat out oblivious. Look at what happened the year they traded for Amari. Overestimating their own talent, as usual. That’s exactly what happened here. All of that rolled into a nice pile of crap topped off by Dak’s horrendous play. Such a big let down, but really, how is anyone surprised by any of this??? All of us ******* Zone posters knew this was going to happen and called it right off the bat.

Stop. No one said to trade your best WR for nothing. Do absolutely nothing to replace the talent you lost. Draft someone in the 3rd round who may never see any playing time.

Dak's contract has no bearing on how bad this team is and the poor roster management.

There were some members who stated via posts or threads that they supported Prescott's getting the contract he signed. Why the incorrect assumption that most members did so is a mystery to me.

Any reliable poll is a sampling of any population's opinion. CowboysZone was the population queried in the poll I posted. A sampling is neither hyperbole nor a exaggeration. Additionally, the 350 members you mentioned total far more than the number of members who actually created individual posts and/or threads voicing their opinion of Prescott's contract.
