I don't think it's Moore. I think it's Jerry ordering Moore to play Pollard more, because that's what the fans wanted.
Thing is, fans aren't nearly as smart as they think they are.

Both Zeke and Pollard are in their contract years and the Cowboys need to figure out if one or neither of them are worth resigning in 2023.
Also Kellen Moore did a lousy job bringing out those trick plays with Zeke and Pollard way too early in the game last night. Dallas had a solid opening drive and could have got something going had they not lost huge yardage on dumb gadgets. Plays like that are almost like admitting you can't beat an opponent playing regularly in my opinion.

2 carries equals a first down. But nope gotta toss the ball to receivers in lieu of running. Whatever happened to running the ball down their throats till the defense stops it? Why is Pollard ran up the gut?

Zeke looked like one of very few "highlights" of the game. Strong, twitchy, even fast. If there's to be any chance to salvage the season, we need to take the ball out of the hands of Rush as often as possible.
I felt as flat about a game after the loss last year to the 49rs as I've felt in years. Sadly, that feeling has returned 1 game later.......can't believe it.
Do these people not know that what makes sport great is hope..............they've taken that away and the season is 5 minutes old.

The only highlight on offense.

They were running the ball very well. The problem is that a lot of times 2nd & 5 would become 2nd & 15 after a penalty and at that point running is out of the question.
The penalties are mystifying to me. Our offense is very limited and we have to tay on schedule to even have hope of putting up some points. Getting 1-2 flags per drive is just going to be devastating considering we don't have the personnel to overcome it.

I totally agree. This team just is not fun to watch. I know that no matter how many games we win, the inevitable collapse is imminent. This year we're lucky it happened early so now the hope doesn't have to build up to an unreasonable amount.
