After watching the crap show last night, there is NO WAY in HELL anybody playing on the offense side of the ball getting a long term contract in the next FEW years! CeeDee is a three at best and there isn't one TE on this team that deserves a long-term MEGA LOTTO contract.....................

Noah Brown might have something to say about that. :muttley::muttley::muttley:

If we knew what to do once we blew it up, I'd be fine with it. We don't.

Lamb is a good player. Go back and watch every pass thrown his way- just horrible accuracy by the QB. If Lamb had a good QB, he would be a star.

But I do agree that if you want to blow it up, and acquire draft capital, then you need to "sell high". Parsons is the one player that might fetch the draft capital needed to obtain a top tier QB. Trade Dak too, and that might give you the ammo you need when combined with whatever first round pick Dallas ends up with.

I saw Dak --- twice --- throw behind CeeDee. How can any receiver deal, with tha?

And that is likely what will happen. Dak will return in time to mess up the draft pick and lead the team closer that coveted .500 mark.

666 and his pal Zeke will once again work their magic and keep us far from a top pick.
Funny how this team is totally controlled by Dak and his sidekick who have made a fortune of cash while we sit here going on week 2 looking forward to best case scenario of tanking.

Lamb is a good WR, he just isn't a true #1 and needs other guys around him as opposed to a JAG and an undrafted FA.

This team seems to go from one extreme to the next at WR.

Playing the season with rush as qb will get you a new QB in the draft. Parsons is the only bright spot and has transformed the d.

If dak can lead this team to 500 he's better than what we've seen since the second half of last year. I was a supporter of his but I don't think he can do that at this point. He's lost all confidence.

Get him out of here while we can get something for him....he is a 2 1/2 at best on a team with a great WR corp. We need to burn this thing to the ground at HC, OC, and QB ASAP....we need an ENTIRE new WR corp....the only persons I hold onto is maybe Dennis Houston and Jake Ferguson, because they are cheap and have an upside. The WR corp we went into the season with was NEVER going to take us to the next level, no matter how well Dak played....they are garbage...Lamb included!!! And don't ask me how we are supposed to get rid of Dak ASAP....I'm not the GM with the fatheaded son, and Arkansas fun baby....let him figure it the hell out.
You sit Dak on sideline and play Cheap FA or draftee that can actually QB.

IF your high paid QB cannot do his job.

I remember Troy saying Dak is not that accurate and without Robust ability to run he is marginal QB at best.

seems like fate has given Jerry an opportunity,

Lamb is looking more and more like a bust, he's losing his value every time he steps on the field

I don't think he's a bust, but it does appear to be that way. I think he'd have more success in a better system. Right now, I think we'd be lucky to get a 2nd for him. So what's the point?

Dallas would be lucky to get a 2nd for Lamb right now. You want to really shake things up? Trade Parsons for 3 firsts. At worst, he's worth two first rounders. Use those picks to trade up to get a QB. Then cross your fingers. But seriously, he's only in his 2nd year, I think he can bring 3 first rounders.

That's if you really want to shake things up. Trading Lamb is ho hum.

Ceedee Lamb was selected with the #17 overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft and to date has acquired the following stats:

28 games 242 targets 155 receptions 2,066 yards 13.3 ypc 11 td's 64% catch % 16 drops (6.6% drop %) 19 rushes 158 yards 1 td 2 fumbles

Justin Jefferson was selected with the #22 overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft and to date has acquired the following stats:

32 games 303 targets 205 receptions 3,200 yards 15.6 ypc 19 td's 67.7% catch % 9 drops (3% drop %) 7 rushes 16 yards 2 fumbles

So the question becomes is Jefferson simply the better WR or is it that Jefferson has a better QB that throws to him?
Jefferson, better WR, better skillset, just a better player. He has the separation ability that CD has some lack of.
