Seems that the real problem is the Front Office that hired this coach (and the coach before him and the coach before him). Shame that they can't deal with that issue.

good grief, it's the culture of being spoiled by an idiot at the top. sheesh, then when mister groundhog is delivering jerry his mail the next idiot in the gene pool takes over, then the next idiot. yep, this will work out well one day. say nobody who's been watching this crap show for a while.

Yeah I'm a big believer in preparation over being "smart" (scared) and keeping everyone in bubble wrap.

However, I also have to acknowledge they did the same thing last year and played lights out in the opener.
I believe sitting players out in the last game of the season when we've had our playoff spot locked up has costed up playoff games in the past also.

They want to play it too safe always.

I'm with you about what you said you about last year and them coming out looking just fine after no preseason. I believe this is their way taking the blame off themselves and making McCarthy the scapegoat. I think in their minds they've already moved on from McCarthy.

why not just sit the "stars" until we make the playoffs? No difference. lmao, you can't make this crap up. The dumbest idiots in the NFL running this team.

Such a decision invites criticism when your team comes out looking so completely inept. And then you lose your quarterback for half the season in the process?

Yeah, plenty of room for questioning. But Little Enos better be sure to look in the mirror too.

This was all so predictable. You knew they were going to start to point fingers right away. Stephen is even more defensive than his father when it comes to this stuff, which is bad news for us because when he takes over, he's literally going to blame everyone but himself and never change how he thinks. He might be more stubborn than dad.

He threw Lamb under the bus. Now he's throwing coaches under the bus. It won't stop. If they lose to Cincy, he'll blame others too.

This is a complete and utter clown show. Kind of depressing because you know there is no way out.

Uh oh. This means they need a tighter reign on ol' Mikey. The return of coach Jones (I mean, did he ever leave?).
His presence isn’t here. He’s saying heavy Robin offense and feature Zeke and Kellen is saying something different in the field because we did not do heavy run.

The preparation definitely wasn’t there, but neither is the talent.

And, considering how this team is run, BOTH of those are on the Jones boys. I absolutely guarantee Jerry and Stephen were on board with not playing starters in the PS.

This is just Stephen being a bad manager and pointing fingers. This team is screwed.

Yep. And based on all evidence things will only get worse in the future.

There's NO bigger problem than the defense knowing what's coming, and thats fully on Moores lack of talent as OC, and Jerry's insistence on having 'his guy' run the offense.

No real need to look beyond that.

when's little pinhead jerry jr. getting his shot at running the team or the she/he girl with the jerry face? Wonder if Rich has pictures to see it is actually a girl. lol

This crap is better than getting underwear for Christmas.
