1- Cincy at home truly looked awful losing to Pittsburgh. Burrow had 4 ints and 2 fumbles (1 lost) with 61 rating. Their kicking looked poor under pressure missing a game winning xp and FG later.
Cincy has 2 goto players. Chase- but if Quinn gameplans right and our D comes thru holding him to around 100 (like Pittsburgh did) thats a win. Second is Mixon but he looked human last week with 82 yds on 27 carries (3.0 avg) and 62 thru air.

2- defense is the strength of our team. Pittsburgh managed 7 sacks to go with the 4 ints, 9 TFL , 11 Qhits.
If we can get anywhere near those stats or just put constant pressure on Burrow we could keep Cincy from getting comfortable and keep the score low which our offense needs

3) I didnt really see a drop-off when Rush took over. While Dak seemed off again or just rusty Rush played the off-season and is use to running this team. Hes on par (to me at least) with Trubisky who won. Lambs last 100 yard game was with Rush. Zeke looked ok. If the OL can play an average game I think Rush may come thru.

we wont go 0-17 this year. I see 5-6 wins and think this could be one of them if only because if u saw Cincy last week they looked that bad
we are 7 point underdogs at home (wow) but hold Chase to 100, Mixon to 150 (total), OL average game, I could see a 17-13 win

Bengals kicking game was bad because their long snapper was injured. They had a back up TE snapping the ball.
If not for that, Bengals would have won that game.

Their OL played worse than ours, however Burrow will still get his WR's in the game, it is not like he gets sacked every play. Key is to get to him and cause turnovers as the Steelers did.

I still laugh at all the 5 and 6 win predictions.

The Steelers defense is so much more physical than the Cowboys its not even funny. I can only dream of a Cowboys defense that plays that physical all the time. Even Donovan Wilson looked soft last week.

Lol, Higgens was a 1000 yard receiver last year. Boyd 800. Hurst when healthy is more than serviceable for their needs. Pitts defensive success was centered around Heyward continuously blowing up their rookie RG throwing him 5 yards into the backfield into Burrow. We don’t have a DT anywhere near his level. If you don’t see a drop off from Dak to the lollipop ginger take up knitting jeez!

The Cowboys wanted to run the ball a lot back when they had Dak. Now that they’ll be sending Rush out for only his second career start, they need to run the ball more. Cincinnati has a pretty stout run defense, but it’s almost entirely concentrated in the middle of the trenches.

Moore needs to get his act together for Dallas to even have a chance.

Ironic that Macpherson was so bad. Had be played like that one game last year in the playoffs they get bounced in the first round.

Now you know how Burrows lead the NFL in picks for most of the seasno.

NO way do we win this game. Mixon is going to go off.

I wouldn’t be one to believe pulling a win off this week is impossible. This isn’t a contest pitting an SEC Goliath against a Group of Five lamb-to-slaughter.

This spread is a pretty big number for Cincinnati but we just saw Houston, Chicago, and Seattle avoid home losses this past week — each getting a touchdown (or so) before those games even kicked. We see it every week.

Sadly, that’s the best thing I can say about the Cowboys chances at this time. You know, that it’s “any given Sunday” in the NFL. Possible, you ask? Sure! Why not?

But if you were to ask point-blank (and no one would), I’ll go 27-10 Bengals. And it’s on to New York!

Not sure we’d have a shot if Burrow and Chase both decided not to play…

The Bengals looked pretty crappy against a Steelers team starting Mitch Trubisky. It isn't like they were playing a team that people expect to be great. They gave up a ton of sacks and the QB was a turnover machine. One of their receivers may be out due to a concussion.

So let's not just assume the Bengals are a great team because they had a great run a year ago. It doesn't always carry over.

As far as Dallas goes, it all comes down to the OC calling a much better game than he did a week ago, and honestly, the same from the DC. Moore's playcalling was atrocious, starting off with the goofy trick plays early in the game. Despite the fact that Zeke was consistently gaining positive yards we stopped running the ball. We need to get the TE's involved in the passing game early, and we need to have Fehoko out there wide to give us a deep threat. Fehoko was the talk of training camp yet we barely played him till late in the game.

The right side of our defense completely pooped the bed in stopping the run, and this was especially bad considering that was where the Bucs had all the backup OL playing. As far as pressure, it was great that Parsons got the two huge sacks, but what I don't understand is why we never brought any extra pressure up the A gap. BRady can deal with pressure coming from the edge much better than when it comes up the gate but we never challenged them that way.

I am not expecting a win, but I am expecting it to be a game that could be won in the 4th. Someone will have to step up and make a play. Maybe Turpin makes a big play in the return game. He looked very pedestrian last week....was the preseason just a fluke going against scrubs?
