He wasn’t on the Practice Squad. That’s where he’s headed.
These moves indicate they plan to activate other practice squad players for the 2 game day ps positions allowed.

Maybe Peters?

Last week Maher and Cooper Rush were the 2 game day active ps players.

They probably want a ps Safety this week due to the Kearse injury and Muk also being injured a few weeks ago.
Don’t forget a backup QB.

Letting go of the eventual best center week one is pretty ***** up. Both the oline coaching staff and front office royally screwed the pooch if this continues to be the case.

They didn't "get rid" of Wilson, they just didn't outbid the highest bidder in free agency.

I liked Wilson, but we could spend 7mil of cap better. 12.5mil gtd? No thanks.

It's not just about the cap. If you've played football in your life you would know it's more than that between a WR and QB. But this is the route they've chosen, and now we see the results.

Ridgeway is not going anywhere. Let’s get him in the weight room and develop him like Bohannon. The Kentucky player looks like a different player and is better then Gallimore.

Gaining weight will make the Vanilla Gorilla even slower.

That’s just not how the draft goes. Everyone doesn’t have the same guys on their board. Some guys may have had a 3rd round grade on him but a late 2nd and early 3rd is the same thing. Not only that but guys get taken far earlier than expected.
A lot of people had a 3rd round grade on Fredericks when we picked him. Cowboys clearly didn’t.

These teams are plugged in. They have a bunch of scouts on payroll as opposed to some hack making a list of guys he likes.

Ok. Like I said before, on every board he was a 3rd or 4th rounder. If they picked Frederick in the first when they could have gotten him in the 2nd, that was a mistake too.

There's a reason punters and kicker aren't picked in the first few rounds. It doesn't matter how good they are. It's because they'll be there in the later rounds.

Punters and kickers are taken in later rounds because they are kickers lol.

I get what you're saying in theory. The issue though is that I think you assume everyone has the same board and that's just not the case. We've already heard people had Tyler Smith all over their boards. Many had him as a 2nd and 3rd rounder.....Titans had him as a 1st.

Pal, all we argued about was concerning Williams beating out Biadasz which you lost badly.

What Williams does in Miami is of no concern to me. Feel free to start rooting for the Dolphins if you like. You can follow your hero to your hearts content.

However if I was to bet on Williams staying atop the center charts I would bet against it. One week means nothing. But it does show how desperate you are the actually get something right.
One week means nothing but you made a whole thread about coopers and Wilsons stats lol

Yeah! I thought he was dominating training camp. Heck, I thought all our DT were unstoppable? Comical!
I've stopped believing half of what I hear during TC.
The amount of guys typed over the last 10 -15 years only to go MIA during the regluar season is a long list.
Remember last year, CeeDee was unstoppable?
Unfortunately other teams didn't get the memo.

Not too hard to play catch in practice when you aren't game planned against.

If history has anything to say about it, teams are more in line with your POV. I'm just making a general statement. Like you said, in theory. It's always a risk if you try to cut it close.

This is their plan all year. Moving backend guys to the ps and call them up on game day.

Ok. Like I said before, on every board he was a 3rd or 4th rounder.

Not on McClay's board, and due to the personal workout I would think Quinn was also higher than a 3rd/4th.

Draft teams are a lot more complex than putting grades on players AND HOPING their favorites are still on the board.

We obviously felt that there was limited chance that the way the draft was falling was still there at 88. By the look of it 6 OLB/DE's went between 56 and 88.

We could of taken Bonitto, who had a higher ranking.....but we took who we must of preferred Sam.
