Not many thought we could beat them with Prescott. And if last weeks performance was an example or guide to this weeks expectations it doesn’t bode well.

After having the top scoring offense last year we were only team without scoring a TD in opening week. And that was with Prescott for most of the game .

The recipe without Prescott must come from our defense and running game . Id say Elliott must have well over a 100 yards and Parsons needs a 3-5 sack game . Defensive player of the week type performance from Micah.

And we need to create some turnovers while not committing any ourselves . Turnover differential is key. A couple big plays from special teams could go a long way. Perhaps a TD on a return from Turpin.

A combination of these contributing factors could take pressure off of needing our depleted receiving corps, makeshift OL and backup QB from additional mistakes and being over matched .

They have a better shot without him than with him because the offense will be ran differently.

Rush I'm sure can read a defense much better (some fans here can read a defense better than Dak) and it the offense will be more run focused.

They can and they will. This game should be a low scoring affair but not of the 7-3 kind but in the mid 20's for both teams with the Cowboys edging out a very game Bengals squad that has ambitions beyond the 17. I see a running game this week setting up play action and occasional deep passes for Cooper Rush. The thing is we will get too many shots of Jerry and his side kick sitting in their luxury box for camera time today if all goes all goes to plan. Oh are we all still holding our collective breathes until Maher makes his kicks? Gonna say Cowboys 27- Bengals 24.

Can I hit my 1-outer on the river to win a nice no-limit poker pot and not lose a ton of money? Yea, I guess it's possible. But I'm not planning on it.

As much as I’ve criticized Rayne Dakota, I have to believe that a 7 year veteran in his prime can’t be replaced easily by a player with 1 entire career start

can he win 1 game? Sure…..but playing consecutive games will reveal his inexperience and he will make mistakes that can only be corrected with experience. He won’t be the future starter of this team because he doesn’t have the minimum fundamentals to be successful at the NFL level. Plain and simple

Honestly, I have my doubts we could beat the Bengals with Prescott about as easily as without him! :banghead:

I think Rush is possibly more accurate than Dak, although his arm strength is less and he's also more vulnerable to a the pass rush. Dak really seems to have regressed, this year, though. I think his past injuries have curtailed his effectiveness noticeably. Let's also consider that the FO's miscues in ditching two of our best WRs likely played a hand in that. Maybe to say our FO guys are in need of brain transplants would be a valid assumption?! o_O

After watching Dak last week I'm not sure they would have been able to win with him. I've had them losing this game weeks ago so I'll stick with that

Zero chance. If it's close I'd be surprised. 45-17. Garbage td at the end.

Ya, Dak has the whole NFL fooled!

Where do you guys come up with these loony theories? Ya, he has overcome his inability to read a defense using hos unique athleticism and amazing arm strength to finish 3rd in the league in rating.

That is the only way that would be possible. Yet, you still take this madness and continue to spew it?
