Its no coincidence. A rusty Cooper Rush is moved up from the practice squad and clicks better with our receivers than Prescott. Rush lead receivers with anticipation and no back bending receptions. Cooper Rush was the one who lead the Cowboys over the Vikings last year with both Amari and Ceedee going over 100 yards+ receiving.

The fan in this gif has a Rush jersey on. Get it while its hot.

let’s pump the breaks and see how he does after there is tap on him and what kellen likes to run with him.

What I don't get, what I truly don't get at all. Is how we do more rollout stuff with Cooper rush than dak. I cannot fathom why we don't take advantage of dak's ability to run the ball. I don't care if it increases the injury risk. Dak isn't the same player when he isn't using his feet. He is not a strict pocket passer.

I saw josh Allen running at least once every set of downs last week. Making plays. Rodgers still does it at almost 40.

Its a psychology trap to make you ask "WHY"?

It makes no sense why you dont run plays that Dak has shown to excel at. You can argue he cant run anymore or that Brady style QB play is more efficient...Im just lobbying for what the dude has shown he was good at. I guess Im a moron.

Do you remember when Dak almost had 3 1,000 yard wr's?

Did he suddenly forget how to do that or what?

You have to understand, he is seeing the same coverages that guys like Mahomes are seeing. Mahomes struggled with it mightily in the playoffs last year. Dak is going to struggle with it too...especially with a handicapped play caller.

Cooper is seeing the "we dare you to beat us" defense.

Like i said, he did and kudos to him. I am pulling for him to have a good run here and give us a serious backup qb.

Your narratives are just not accurate.

Also, you have to tip your cap to TB. They have a great defense...they shut down NO today and only a garbage td late gave them a td. 1 td and 3 picks for Winston.
Why are you lying?

Ok bro let's not get ahead of ourselves, but that D is special and nice to win game with 5 KEY starters out.

It's the scheme. And the players DQ has to run it.

Tampa is ahead of us right now. But we're not that far behind them with a little practice. Because we have more youth on our defense. They have more experience. But we have more athleticism.

cooper connected great with Cee Dee also . It is evident he throws and makes better decisions than dak. this issue won't go away now . Dak's cover has been blown. If jerry had not guaranteed his money he would be in pergatory

The thing I noticed in the opener with the Rams and Bills is that the Rams get up there and they know where the play is going and they run it, the ball comes out quickly, and the players execute their assignment.

I'm not a Dak hater. I'm also a Kellen Moore fan. But Moore had a bad game scheming up plays for Dak to play against the Tampa defense, which is very talented. From their players, to their coordinator, the Bucs are the real deal this year.

Anyway, you really can't glean a lot from one game. Even if it wasn't Dak's best game.

Look at Dak's last 10 games or so. Just utter crap.

He has zero confidence. His physical and mental limitations are crystal clear. This is what he is.
Utter crap?

Has like a 99 qb rating.

Oh ya got me! Now go watch the game. Light boxes vs the run game and soft cover two zones do not validate the dumb quote by Ward.

Same thing that happened to Mahomes in the playoffs last year.

Lets see

Believe the actual guy that is in the locker room and knows the gameplan

or

Believe the biggest Dak homer on this board?

Hmm

It's much harder when there is a lot more game tape showing your tendencies as a starter. I'm glad Rush came through today, it was a big win but the path some fans are going down wondering if Rush is better than Dak is misguided at this point.

Rush had an excellent first half, poor 2nd half going 7/13 for 73 yards until he found magic on that last drive. Hope that magic can continue!

Bro you have to stop

You saying u watched the all-22 means less than nothing to me. Teams do not defend Dak like no damn Pat Mahomes. Stop the nonsense.
Ok, then keep posting wrong stuff....see if i care.

We were over this ad nauseum after the 49er game...go look up the threads.

Who is “we”?

Troy said after the game he was disgusted because they were singled up on Ceedee and Dak and Kellen didnt take advantage…

Teams do not fear Dak like they do Mahomes. That may be one of the dumbest things ever posted on here

I'm more interested in why Cooper can find open receivers and Dak cannot. That's very disturbing.
Because Dak has a panic attack everytime read #1 ain't completely wide open.....then he resorts to checking down to someone within 5 yards.....the checkdown recipients do all the dirty work and Dak takes the credit for passing yds stats.

They played defense like he was a guy they just elevated from their practice squad.

That is not what Dak sees....he sees the same coverages as the "Elite" in the league...minus a competent OC.
So you're adding ...."Defenses only play properly when facing Dak" as yet another excuse for Dak's performance.
Someday it will dawn on you that all these excuses have a root cause.
Whatever the reason (and that may include perpetual injury) he's not the player he was and his QB2 is getting the best out of the Offense .... which was always Dsk's best suit.
