I had us at 5-3 after 8, so anything better than that is a plus. I think we are better than every team with the exception of the Rams, Bengals and Bucs in the first 8, we split with the Bucs and Bengals, and we are better than 5 of the other 6 teams remaining, should be 6-2 at 8 games in.

This looks good on paper but .......on any given Sunday. So let's take one game at a time

all those games will be tough games, except maybe chicago.
Dallas could lose or win any of them.

The giants, I think most if not all of the players on that team now have confidence in themselves, and winning.
None of them have ever beat the cowboys ! so they are gonna go all out to beat the cowboys, same for eagles and wash.
Lions will play tough too.
Rams, well yeah that will be tough game too, could go either way.

I think the dallas defense gives them a chance to win any game, so depends on offense and coaching on off, etc.

I can only imagine how you Dak haters will turn against Cooper Rush if he starts bumbling away some games.

We will criticize him as well. The difference is that he doesn’t take up 20% of the salary cap

why is this so hard for some to understand. Not personal, just straight up value for salary cap burden is questioned

I think we will beat the Giants, the Commanders, probably lose to the Rams (it's the Rams, not many teams will beat them this year), beat the Eagles, beat the Lions (might have Dak back by then), and beat the Bears. So, we'd be 6-2 at that spot. That'd be very good.
According to recent news, Dak could be back by Washington. Definitely don’t see him being out past Philadelphia.

I'm excited we won yesterday. It changed the complexion of the entire season for me. And while it won't help with this board that seems to want to disparage our own players at every opportunity, it gives me hope. If this oline comes together enough to win with a backup QB, we should be very formidable once we have our full compliment of talent available.

If we get past a long stretch without our starting QB and come out even or better in the win/loss column, that's incredible.

I really don't understand anyone who doesn't root for their own team's players...all of them. When we picked up Bledsoe, I wasn't overly excited. I considered him the enemy. But the minute he was taking snaps for us, I wanted him to have the best games of his life. I felt the same way when Romo replaced him. And despite so many years with Romo having the kind of luck that prevented him from winning what we all want, I hated to see him retire. Now that Dak is here, and despite my concern that his last few games have been pretty bad, I'm 100% rooting for him. I'll do the same for Rush as long as he's back there. If Gilbert was taking snaps, I'd be hoping he could get it done. It honestly looks like some of the posters here want to be right so badly that they will be delighted if our QB fails (regardless of which QB it is).

Lions are going to be a better team than they have been in the past.

Hurts looks much improved over last year. And their offense is looking a lot better than the Cowboys right now.

I don't know about that but I don't want Dak to come back till he's completely healthy. Russell Wilson had this injury and came back too early and wasn't as effective. If we can tread water and win games while Dak is out then no need to rush him back. I wouldn't want a re-injury or problems with his hand messing with his head.

With the way the Rams, Eagles and Lions have scored. We are going to need a better offensive performance for us to come out with a win on one or all of those teams. And if the offense gets a lead, Kellen Moore cannot afford to play conservative against these offenses.

Giants and Washington game are huge during this stretch. They aren't beating the Rams and Eagles on the road. Lose one of the first two games and they will be sitting at 2-4 after 6 games.

The good news is 4 of those 6 teams have below average to bad offenses, so we should be able to keep the score low enough to win. Rams will be tough as they have a good offense and defense (though the defense hasnt played very well thus far, but they have the players) and the Eagles are executing what they do pretty well right now though it has its limitations.

5-3 would be fantastic, as the last 9 games have 7-2ish potential with Dak back and our full compliment of receivers.
