If we can win without him then don't rush him back. It will not do anyone any favors to rush him back. I'm saying this not as a Dak vs Cooper debate but more of a concern that he could get reinjured or not be as effective. We need Dak 100% when he plays, that's the best interest of the team. I really don't want to rush him back and then he struggles with his thumb and it causes him to be inaccurate. I don't want any mental obstacles when he comes back.

Why rush Dak back at all? The dude has never recovered from his ankle injury. He lost all of his confidence. Rushing him back with a screwed up hand is a disaster waiting to happen.

Like Sims said, the drop off from Dak to Rush isn’t that much. Rush seems to fit in this offense better and throws catchable balls to the receivers. We’re not winning any championships with either QB so let’s roll with Rush. We’ve seen what Dak is capable of.
