The 4th down throw was behind Brown

I think you are overanalyzing this, Ronnie.

The expectations are way higher(40x) for Dak. That comes with the salary multiplier he negotiated.

For our 40 million this year, Dak scored 3 points against the Bucs for the loss. For Cooper's $995,000 salary he scored 20 against the Bengals(SB runner up) for the win.

Fans have every right to hold Dak to a higher standard.

Okay so the double standard based on salary is the reasoning now.. Which might hold water were it not for the fact that those same complaints having been around before Dak signed the big deal.. and I know you're not going to pretend they weren't. Everybody knows Dak has to play better when he gets back.. Only people who hate the Cowboys are hoping he doesn't.

I was just glad Rush completed a few passes and sustained a drive....plus he got the win........I don't care how ugly it was...he's a backup the criticism isn't or shouldn't be the same for him.

But Dak better be ready when he gets back and play like a above average QB1 or the fan base is gonna tear him apart.

Correct, many of us thought he wasn't worth the money before he signed the contract as well. He started to make me feel better about it the first half of last year but then he regressed back to his old form in the second half. Looks the same so far this year.

What was arguably the biggest play in the game was really a late throw across the middle that Noah reached back and snatched out of the air.. Then the TD was high and outside and Brown had to climb the ladder a bit to go get it. Yet people have been downright giddy about how Rush "hit receivers in stride" and all that thinly veiled shots at Dak noise. If Dak makes that same throw to Brown all we would have heard was how if he woulda led him he would have had a chance to run after the catch. In reality throwing it behind was absolute the right ball placement because if he leads him Noah probably gets blown up by the safety and maybe even gets the ball dislodged and Cincy has the ball at our 40 yard line. It's probably a very different ballgame then.

The point of this is that you people talkin bout how well Rush threw the ball must have been getting a beer on the 5-6 near INTs he tossed. And why do I mention near INTs? Because people were beside themselves when Dak had a similar total of near misses in a game last season. And if I'm not mistaken we won that game too. This is not to disparage the game Rush had.. He had a nice game as a backup. He managed the game and didn't LOSE it. And made 5-6 throws when he absolutely had to in order to win it. I call that "Eli Manninging." I hope he does it 4-5 more times..
At least R - U - S - H is throwing passes that receivers have a chance to catch, whereas Dakota " TOAD HUNTER" Prescot was throwing into double and triple coverages and the receivers had no chance to even stiff the ball.

Point is that Brown is showing how to step it up in the unhallowed WR ranks.

I don't think you understand the word analyze.
Fans can do what they want, but it doesn't make their understanding of contractual market value any better. It's insane.
Now you have fans attributing points neither player scored to base an argument on? Against two different teams at two different times. Wild stuff.

Agree to a point but lets not get too far carried away, Rush chunked some stinkers, at least 4 that could have been easy picks that fortunately were not.
