I thought Maher missed the field goal

I think we will be in at least 10-12 games like this where a FG is needed 2 win. Its that kind of team we have.

I rewound the field goal and played it back a frame at a time. The last frame where I could see the ball clearly was when it was just inside and even with the goal post. After that, there was just some kind of very light shadow of the ball, barely visible on each frame, like the ball turned into a ghost. No explanation for that, but it was clearly good.

The angle from the front of the goal posts, the FG looked perfect. But, the look from the back of the goal posts. It looked like Maher barely made the upright towards the left.

I thought it was going wide to the right. But you can see the ball inside the post as it passes by.

I didn't think of that. A straighter kick and it's probably good from 65.

If you advance that pic one frame you'll see the ball cover the post. Which means it's good. If you see the post cover the ball as it goes by, that's a bad thing.

The TV angle wasnt that great plus the sun.....Jerry not putting drapes on the end zone windows didnt help either..

Not only did I think he missed it, when I watched the replay, the Anger looked like he kinna fumbled the snap a bit.
