The more green dots the better.

And FYI Kearse is out.
Well there is only 1 green dot on the field at a time. So you want it on the guy that will play as close to 100% of the snaps, in Quinn's Defense the front 7 are are constantly changing either rotational pieces or sub packages that go with DBs playing LB roles.

In all fairness to LVE, MLB is just one of many of the positions where we don't have championship caliber players. Other than Micha Parsons or Zach Martin it would hard to make an argument for any other player on the roster being championship caliber or elite at their positions. You might be able to make and argument for Trevon Diggs but Martin and Parsons are the only slam dunks I see.
With the salary cap
We can't afford to pay for all pros at every position.
We need solid steady players on good contracts mixed in.
LVE fits this description.

If Bob Bruenig and Robert Jones can be MLB's on a championship team then so can LVE. He may not be special but he's not a liability in Quinn's system..

Robert Jones was similar to LVE in that he started and shined as rook. Like LVE he actually has a single Pro Bowl in his resume.

But Jones was always a physical presence vs run.

The one thing he could consistently do was hit.

In the fantasy football era of how we see football, it’s lost on too many that football championships are won by TEAMS not a collection of individual players.

Sorry man.. LVE is not a MLB you will win a SB with. Too inconsistent with not enough impact plays at LOS. Most come in past the line for 5+ yards. Needs to be able to plug gaps more consistently.

He was a cap casualty after the 95 season. Many others followed thanks to some wild contracts,

He eventually ended up in Miami, playing for Jimmy Johnson's #3 ranked defense with Brock Marion, Trace Armstrong, Patrick Surtain, Daryl Gardner, Zack Thomas, Sam Madison, Tim Bowens and Jason Taylor.

Jones had a pretty productive ten year career.

LOL

We've heard your opinions on CZ. A LOT.

So spare me the histrionics when we all know you've got more wrong than right.
I can give ZERO flaks about your opinion, trust me.. what the team does is all that matters and guaranteed 73 keeps the LT position unless he gets hurt and how you feel about LVE also its on Quinn apparently DQ says LVE is best option....

Yes i do think he is good enough to win it all with. Improve the middle of the D line and LVEs play will elevate. Cant expect your linebackers to be making many plays behind the line of scrimmage if your defensive tackles cant keep the center and guards occupied.

You don’t get 11 Micah Parsons and 11 Zack Martins. The bottom line for me is that I think I’ve seen worse defenses win super bowls, never seen this level of offense go anywhere though. Add Amari Cooper and things might have been different.

He is healed up as much as he can be mentally and physically.. He is good to go. With having talent around him it allows him to do his job and not have to help other LBs. I think jaylon had one descent year and that’s when LVE had a great year. Now after being healed from the injury he has good LBs around him. With Parsons and other pressure on the QB and help covering the run LVE can concentrate on his gap and play. Players are going to have bad or average games. But LVE won’t be a weak link.

LVE has stepped his game up and is playing at a decent level. However, I do wonder if there's a better LB combination for this defense. Barr is the new MLB, allowing Micah to play rush OLB more often, so this means LVE is playing WLB. WLB is usually a faster LB (think Lavonte David) so I can't help but to wonder if Cox or even Harper could be a bit more disruptive due to their speed.
