The mistake was not getting more than a 5th rounder

Dak Prescott is a WR killer. Amari’s last 100 game with Dak was week 1 against the Bucs. He already has more 100yd games with Brissett in only 3 games.

He had 18 100 yard games with Dak but Dak is a wr killer.....lol
Funny how Amari numbers went down when Lamb was drafted ...lol almost as if somebody was getting open...lol

It was, objectively, an extremely stupid trade when it was made.

And the fact they did nothing afterwards to replace him makes it even worse.

We replaced Cooper with Jalen Tolbert! Literally, the plan was to replace our best WR with a 3rd Rd rookie who isn't good enough to even dress for the games

You would have a point if ceedee was out here having 100 yd games himself. His last one was with Cooper Rush

Swing nd miss

Holy heck it’s been 2 weeks guys. Gallup hasn’t even played yet.

You cannot make this claim now lol. Wait until the season is over before you analyze a trade/cut winner and loser. Shoot, takes a few more years than that but it’s clear patience is not a part of this forums culture lol.

It doesn’t matter. We are a better team with Cooper,Ceedee, and Gallup

the problem is the trigger man isn’t good enough to get them the ball

I'll give it to them... they are getting more and more creative by the day with their weak *** Dak hate. Lol.... These guys really are entertaining to me.
You are clueless . . . I am making a statement as to what I perceive . . . Devoid of the Emotion of Hate . . . You know the word you used as a Label

Has literally nothing at all to do with that lol. You can’t keep 3 highly paid WR’s no team has ever in the history of salary cap football done that. Not sure why we expect the team to have 3 highly paid WR’s that’s the poorest roster management I’ve ever heard of.

This move has absolutely everything to do with roster management. You really expect a team to pay 3 WR’s lol?

Like I said in my other post, it’s not only about 2022, but the shape of the team moving forward. You weren’t gonna pay two 20M dollar WR’s. The hope is Gallup is a good WR2 at half the cost of Cooper and Lamb steps into the WR1 role and gets the big bucks.

I’m not saying that will happen but the plan wasn’t crazy. Cooper playing well has nothing to do with it, we didn’t trade him due to not being able to play well.

You can’t keep all three once they get off rookie deals and you can’t pay two number 1’s (poor roster management) so you have only two options. A) Cooper and Gallup or B) Lamb and Gallup. Team chose B and it’s not an illogical one. Lamb is younger and was drafted by them. Coop is good but you know his highs. Lamb has the upside to maybe be more so they bet on that.

If you wanna say they shoulda gone with option A, fine. But it doesn’t negate that option B also makes sense.
