With that said, Rush doesn't have Belichick to groom him either. Oh yeah.... Rush has been in the league since 2016, its not like he's some rookie.

I still can't believe you brought up Brady and our backup quarterback in the same sentence!!!

I think I understand these kind of threads now. All he needs is two likes from a couple of crazy people to improve his post / like ratio. :D

I think this forum needs an "are you out of your f***ing mind" option right next to the like button. As some sort of counter weight.

It was the second game of Brady's second season when he came in for an injured Bledsoe.
Patriots lost that game and were 0-2; but team went 11-3 the rest of the 2001season with Brady as the starter, then went 3-0 in the playoffs to win their first Super Bowl.

Trade Parsons for 2 #1s and get me a damn QB.

Brady threw three passes in his first season in the NFL.
His second season he was voted to the Pro Bowl and led the Patriots to the Super Bowl.

You can't judge or hold a quarterback or any rookie who didn't log any playing time to an "elite" standard.
But by his second year, Brady had a body of work that pointed toward his future "elite" status via his Pro Bowl nomination and his Super Bowl MVP.

Let's wait and see what Cooper Rush does from here on out. Comparing him to Brady in any way, shape, form or fashion is the literal definition of "jumping the gun."
