They have a pretty stout lineup on both sides of the ball. Had them winning the division in the off-season. Granted their schedule is cakewalk this year for the most part

Still think Hurtz is not the future. They have played three trash tier defenses from last year

Good lord. They've played 3 games against weak opponents. It's early in the year. Hurts doesn't look like a different QB this year. I see the same gadget plays, reckless 4th down attempts and reminder he was 22/35 today against a WAS team that didn't show up to play. He often throws gimme balls, his WR just have come down with them. He could of had multiple INTS this game.

It's 3 games in.

LOL

If Dak went 22/35 for 330, 3 TDs and like a 124 rating, people would be gushing about him.

Here arrived the Eagles mascot in all it's grand glory. Hurts has had 3 games to this year so far and has played above average against pretty mediocre teams. Last year he was mediocre.

Your point on Dak, " If Dak went 22/35 for 330, 3 TDs and like a 124 rating, people would be gushing about him."

He did this all last year for a 37 TD and 10 INT rating. That isn't the point here though, it is about Philly being overrated. As they usually are.

Gonna be good for years. Have 2 firsts. If Don’t need qb will improve D and lines even more. Their qb can run. Ours can’t. We are in trouble and our management not smart enough help us.
Again…..people wouldn’t listen.

I can't talk about the Eagles without saying I like Jalen Hurts as a player so I'll just shut up - at least until they play each other.

First, How many running QB’s win the super bowl? Stafford? Brady? Yes Mahomes could, but didn’t really.

Second, Who the HE’LL has Philly played? Washington, Detroit, and Minnesota??? Seriously, and everyone is anointing them..Sad thing is, the rest of their schedule is almost just as easy as these first three games. But whatever. Wanna bet we beat them both times we play them? Who wants that bet right now?

Sounds like a jumping off a cliff post. I am going to pass on this one.

The Eagles are easily the first 3 peat team in the NFL. I don’t see how they will lose more than 1 game during their run.

Easy schedule. They probably don’t lose many games. They winning division.

The Eagles defense looks better than it really is because it hasn't played the same level of offenses the Cowboys have faced. I think we beat them. I think the trap game is New York.

I've been told on here that Dak is in the conversation with Mahomes and Rodgers. This is turning out to be fun as time goes on Dak is being exposed. Hurts to me the jury is out on him until he beats some solid teams. But the Eagles have done well to manipulate out of that Wentz signing.

Almost like they have competent ownership and we don't

Took the words right out my mouth.

Reality is if the cowboys were 3-0, a lot here would be crowning them NFL champs already as well. Start off 1-3, you have bunch of bums. Comes with ALL the fans of every team I guess.

That said, in order, IMO, Eagles, Giants and it's a toss up at the bottom for management between the Cowboys and skins. Generally it seems when you have ownership that thinks they know football and makes decisions for management and coaching, at least for myself, it seems they run the team into the ground.

Yes, Jerry did get #11 and he was a great pick, but you have a much larger roster than 1 man, and you have coaching picks and management picks as well. Without Jimmy Johnson, I'm sorry, Jerry is a nothing but nit picky owner who thinks he knows football and ends up sometimes making more headlines than his own team not in a good way.

Not saying the Eagles are perfect as they have made mistakes themselves, but it seems they at least try to correct those mistakes.

On a sidenote I'm stuck watching the Panthers play. Mayfield played like crap but since they won, funny watching the sports on news. It's like a new team now that they won, but they're still crap with a owner that still befuddles most local fans.

Eagles probably won't win it all this year, but they are a hell of a lot closer to winning a Super Bowl than us, and I know this because Jerry Jones doesn't own them.

....and one can make the point Dak is overrated seeing as how he put up those numbers in the regular season yet in the playoff loss to SF he put up these numbers:

23 of 42 53.5% Comp % 254 yards 1 td 1 int 69.3 rating 1 fumble

However, I agree that this thread is about the Eagles after 3 games and how Jalen Hurts has started well (66 of 98 67.3% Comp % 916 yards 4 td's 1 int 106.5 rating 37 carries 167 yards 3 td's) while their defense is coming together. Depending on tonight's outcome versus the Giants, Dallas could be looking at being behind 2 games after the first 3 weeks in terms of NFC East standings.

Jalen Hurts and his Eagle friends are "for real," folks! The offseason has done them great favors with Hurts' passing having improved his effectiveness significantly. Getting the distinct advantage of adding better receivers entering their offensive picture has done wonders for them. They were extremely impressive in dominating a supposedly improved Washington team yesterday. Our lines on both sides of the ball will be obliged to improve a lot.

Here's hoping this presently lesser version of the Dallas offense develops into a formidable weapon once again. Fortunately, there'll be time for that to happen between now and our first game with them. Week six will come surely enough for that to occur, if we improve a lot in the meantime. Our offensive line may be seriously challenged to thwart their potent pass rush. We'll have plenty of hard work to do to somehow make that come about.
