Eagles are a problem

Eagles probably won't win it all this year, but they are a hell of a lot closer to winning a Super Bowl than us, and I know this because Jerry Jones doesn't own them.

On any given Sunday, one team can beat the other. I also realize that the first half of the season doesn't always play out like the second half of the season unless your an exceptionally very good football team who should and can win the games they're expected to win. At this point, I don't think there are any exceptionally good football teams in the NFC East.

That said, I agree with you;)

Long season and a lot can change but no doubt they look good so far. It is impressive to see the new guys they brought in make immediate impacts and look like difference makers. Add to the fact, is they could have another high first next year with the Saints. They are definitely a team on the rise. The Giants also may be on the rise, we will see though. They need much better QB play.

Dallas could be fine next year but we really need our front office to proactively look to fix the leaks this offseason.

Long season as I’ve said, aj brown is a damn beast. He looks like prime dez out there. Even with cooper I think they would still have the best receivers. Hurts looks improved but he still takes off running with the quickness, the soft zone crap ain’t working, teams gonna get away from that. Defense can be beat. There pass rush isn’t that great. Now they got those sacks but commanders offense line has been exposed and that happened vs the lions, wentz pocket awareness is absolutely trash. For cowboys to beat the eagles , they will need Gallup and Dak , and should definitely run the ball. Cowboys offense line I believe will improve more by than too. Eagles in 2014 and 2016 got off to a hot start (3-0). I remember them wentz boys claiming he was the chosen one after 3 games especially after they beat down the Steelers 34-3.

I was questioning how good their dline would be this year too, but it's been coming around. They sacked Wentz 9 times yesterday. 7 of those sacks came when they were just rushing their front 4.

They are 5th in yards allowed, 1st in sacks (Dallas can tie them if they add 4 tonight), and 7th in defensive scoring per game (and that's with allowing Detroit to put 35 on them). People laugh at the Lions, but they are an improving team. They set an NFL record by scoring a TD in each of their first 11 quarters this year

Lions have improved. Yeah I saw that also, commanders line tho just kept collapsing with the quickness. Last week vs the Vikings , cousins has plenty of time but u know how he is with games after 7 pm lol. Eagles are much improved tho. Like I said, aj brown is a freak

Gonna be good for years. Have 2 firsts. If Don’t need qb will improve D and lines even more. Their qb can run. Ours can’t. We are in trouble and our management not smart enough help us.
I said the exact same thing in off season. they made all the right moves. expected Hurts to grow a little. got hims some weapons. had the OL and running game already. they were the favorites to beat in NFCE. the rest are vying for second place.

People saying the Eagles suck, where is their weakness so far this year? Don't say Hurts because nothing about this season says Hurts has not been exceptional. And don't say they have played a weak schedule because they beat the teams in front of them and beat them easily. You can't argue what they will do in the future because you have no evidence of that. The Eagles were weak in the secondary last year and they used the offseason to fix that. They also fixed their weak receiving group. If the Eagles stay healthy they will make it to the NFC Championship game.

The Eagles had a great offseason and the Cowboys didn't. The Eagles went to the playoffs last year and are better now.
I mean. When the Cowboys beat bad teams we have to listen to how they havent played anyone. It is always amazing to me how "Fans" of this team give excuses to other teams that they wont give to their own teams.

Look at Josh Allen yesterday. Threw a game winner into the ground. Crickets. If that was Dak or any Cowboys QB there would be a 50 page thread on just that throw. Its crazy.

It’s no secret that a softer schedule is what happens when you don’t win your division in the prior season.

That’s a huge part of why Dallas does not play well every other season, in case some of you haven’t noticed.

If last years 12 win season by Dallas was legit, crapping on Philly right now is a bit hypocritical.

Still, only three opponents are different, but that could make all the difference. The head to head will ultimately decide things, and Dallas will have their chance.

Dak homies are gonna try to convince you that Dak is as fast as Bullet Bob Hayes, as elusive as Barry Sanders, and throws a ball better than Aikman, Staubach, Montana, Bradshaw, Unitas, and Marino combined. Brady who? Dak is going to lay 50 burgers on those sorry Iggles. Don't believe me? Just ask the homies. No need to worry about Dak and his new glass status.

Not likely. Jerry loves it when everyone is talking about the Cowboys. It doesn't matter if its good or bad attention either.
don't worry Daks excuse for this year will be his finger.

When Dak wins as many Super Bowls as Allen, then he will get leeway! Oh wait!

I never understood all the Josh Allen adoration. He is a good QB, but he still has his flaws. There are always contrarians to every opinion. I try to be objective about the Cowboys, Dak, and the Cowboys opponents. There is no point in wishful thinking, or allowing emotions to cloud the facts because all 17 games will be played and the winners will emerge. The Eagles are a good team regardless of what Dallas does. IMO, the Cowboys are not as good this year as they were last year, and they are not as good as the Eagles this year. It is just the way it is.

Philly has a way better front office than us and it shows. It keeps them competitive. Every offseason move they made is paying off right now. While we got worst

Yes they are a problem !
Those ugly Uniforms of theirs give me eye pain every time I watch them play the Cowboys.

REGULAR SEASON STATS

410-596 4,449 68.8% 37 TD 10 INT , Rating 104.2

Here arrived the Eagles mascot in all it's grand glory. Hurts has had 3 games to this year so far and has played above average against pretty mediocre teams. Last year he was mediocre.

Your point on Dak, " If Dak went 22/35 for 330, 3 TDs and like a 124 rating, people would be gushing about him."

He did this all last year for a 37 TD and 10 INT rating. That isn't the point here though, it is about Philly being overrated. As they usually are.

Not sure how this refutes the point. Hurts has played well yesterday. You want to claim he hasn't played well but the reality is if Dak had that exact stat line yesterday, there is a 100% chance you'd be gushing about his play. Be consistent and less of a homer.
