Unfortunately that same arrogance is why he fails time after time in the playoffs. He can’t accept that while playing safe is smart in the regular season, in the playoffs you have to take risks. He can’t accept that the way everyone has been doing it and succeeding might actually be correct. He is the easiest mark or simply put a sheep.

Yes decades of psychological studies on what kinds of people are most easily conned all done just to “hate”. Do you realize how delusional you sound? I kind of pity you.

The funniest part is you are acting exactly like who you used as your insult as that is part of what makes you a sheep. It doesn’t matter if your argument contradicts itself, or if it’s inconsistent, but instead no matter how illogical it gets you can’t be wrong. In a way you mirror Skip and that very personality type makes for an easy mark.

Just kidding! I watched because I figured there was at least a decent chance the Saints would lose, with Mr. Interception Winston being their quarterback. Saints are the "local" team, being the only NFL team in the state, though the Texans are geographically closer. (Not that I'm a Texans fan, either!).
The local fans are so obnoxious about their one-time SB winning team I always enjoy watching the Saints lose.

But I digress.

This year, so far, is shaping up to be a year that any team, even our own beloved Cowboys, can win it all. Buffalo was being touted as THE team to beat, they lost. Brady screwed up his game and the Bucs lost. Chiefs and Chargers, both thought of as top contenders, both lost to lesser teams.

Get a grip. I was referring to your idiotic comments on him playing QB. That is your Skip playbook. I dont care what Rodgers believes about Covid or Accapaca or whatever South American JuJu he believes in.

right all we here even in 19 we were 3-0 our own fans bash our team and crown our Butter hated rivals..its like opposite town..im living in my own personal hell coming to what i thought was a safe cowboys fan site and see new posts all day on how great the shegals are.. Hurts went from laughingstock to MVP talk.seriosly i Remember Dak in 2020 was rolling before the ankle injury when the word MVP candidate came up , it got shot down, here talk up the eagles..lmao this pace keeps pointing to stat padding against lower hanging teams when its own own team but hey the eagles talk them up..

Yes and my problem with Rodgers, and why he fails repeatedly, is that he cannot accept that playing it safe does not work.

The thing about Skip and why he is driven by ego versus facts is because to understand his position all you have to understand is this: if he likes you then he will make any excuse to justify your failings and to go further he will find any reason to tear down your competition. To that end the reason he dislikes Rodgers is actually twofold: he liked Bret Favre and loves Tom Brady. The idea that Rodgers was an upgrade over Favre and could be the best QB in football during Brady's prime meant that Skip had to find reasons to tear him down. He decided he likes Brady so anyone who challenges Brady must be flawed and wrong and Brady can do no wrong.

At its core though it is ego and an inability to admit to being wrong which is , in an unfortunate way, the same problem Rodgers has and why he cannot seem to win in the playoffs. The way he won yesterday will work in the regular season but in the playoffs you have to go for the throat at every opportunity and if you play it safe you will safely lose. That is the thing Brady gets and Rodgers does not and that Rodgers seems unwilling to adapt to because he certainly has the skills and the ability to go for the finish.
