Right now Eagles and Miami look best. But still way to early to tell.

Still think Buffalo still the team to beat long term

NFL season is a marathon, even at only 17 games. Eagles have played a junk schedule so far. And have won so good for them. They have did this before. But right now, no one in the NFC you can say is hands down better than them.

But it's really pointless to argue over who the best team is after week 3.

I will be the first to say that I ignore the Eagles and I only watch them when they are playing Dallas. How did they go from being the team that the Cowboys gave embarrassing beatdowns to last season to being considered as the best in the league? Yes, it’s a serious question, but it’s understandable considering that I have only watched Cowboys’s games the last 4-5 years. Does Dallas give the Eagles a bad matchup due to coaching and players or did the Eagles make a big transformation?

They had a great off-season acquiring talent and Jalen Hurts has improved.

Plenty of upsets the first 3 weeks, the Eagles handled their business, that’s all you can ask from a team.

I am honestly still amazed that Tua was allowed back in that game. I dont know how any doctor worth anything clears him after watching him being unable to walk off the field under his own power.

Also. I have to say Miami looks damn good too. If Allen didnt lose the game for Buffalo though its a different story. I dont agree with Philly being the best team in football because lets be honest. They havent played anyone. I dont count Cousins in Primetime as anything short of a gimme game.
Buffalo was also missing a bunch of players, so that didn't help.

its week 3. Way 2 early to say who's best. Lets see who's still standing after week 12. That will be the real test. We can gage it better by then. Look at the teams the Shegals have played. They are all terrible. We at least beat the reigning SB runner ^.

Garrett is obviously playing into the media hype rhetoric. I’m disappointed because I thought he was doing a nice job otherwise.

It's still Buffalo until I see better. And yes I know they lost today.
No doubt.
They were missing half their defense, on the road in Miami during Sept (where every northern team loses) and gave the game away.
They will crush Miami in Buffalo and are 10 points better than Philly.

Is that why he's an announcer and not currently coaching anyone at any level?

We were told by Jerry that if Garrett was available plenty of teams would be trying to grab him for head coach. I mean the great Jerry Jones couldn't be wrong when it comes to football matters. Maybe Garrett doesn't want to be a head coach. Jerry is just much more advanced at seeing talent then the rest of the football world.

He said, "right now". He is not talking about what might happen in December. So I think he is right. The Eagles look like the best team in football right now. If Hurts continues to play they way he has so far, I do not see a weakness on the Eagles roster. They added the right players they needed to after making the playoffs last year.

They also have some aging players. Kelce is in his last year probably. Cox is getting old. Brandon Graham is probably at the end of his careers as well. And as we all know, once you get really good, other teams take all your free agent players that you can't fit under the CAP anymore. Maybe next year they won't be as good, but this year they look very strong.

Arguably, Miami is also the top team in football. They just beat the Bills who everyone thought was the best team.
They just drafted a future All-pro center so they're good there.

You're only as good as the team on the field. All teams have injuries.

Even with the injuries, they are the best...imo
But no team is missing 5-6 starters on one side of the ball all at one time. That was temporary, not an indication of a 17 game season.
