-I can care less about the opponent, when you win with your backup QB it's like stealing money. We also had several starters out tonight.

-Terrible officiating game on both sides Noah Brown mugged twice, the run into Diggs was just as bad.

Offense

-Balance, Balance, Balance!! I was screaming all offseason long that the team's #1 priority was to fix their run game and be able to have more balance. Run game was excellent, it allowed playaction to be very effective. This is the recipe for success!

-OL had it's struggles with penalties in the 1st half, but cleaned it up as the game progressed. Thought both our Tackles played well and noticed Tyler was apart of many of our big gains on the ground with his mobility.

-Thought our two rookie TE's were very good and were a factor in the team's offense success.

-Give Lamb credit, he had that terrible series late in the 1st half, but dominated when the game was on the line. Huge 4th down catch and finished the drive with a great TD grab.

-Hated that 3rd and 1 call when Noah got mugged the second time, run the damn football!!

-That 20 point benchmark is the key, keep on doing this, you will win many games, especially if the other 2 units are playing well!

Defense

-Tremendous pressure all game long. Parsons didn't look right, but the likes of DLaw and Armstrong had strong games.

-Run defense on Barkley was pretty solid all night long, yes they gave up 1 big play, but that happens against an elite playmaker like him at times. What killed this defense was Daniel Jones breaking the pocket and gaining so much yardage with his legs.

-This unit cannot keep on extending driving with all these penalties. When you have many 3rd and longs you cannot commit stupid penalties, Lewis, Joseph had a few killers that I remember.

-Excellent catch by Diggs to seal the game, although he should of had multiple picks this game, including a pick six.

Special Teams

-Armstrong had a huge FG block to flipped momentum early on.
-Another huge late punt return from Turpin.
-Maher was money again. Just make the kicks you are suppose to make, which he did.

No Big Cat in the middle helped the run game. Dak has the shakes to make you quake. Rush has the fries to dot your eyes.

I have said many times, one common denominator among elite defenses....... minimum 2 playmakers. Parsons is Parsons, we know he's balling every week but we are also seeing different playmakers step up each week. Last week it was Armstrong and LVE, last night, Diggs and DLaw. We only getting better IMO.

Excellent write up, I'd just kind of loved the idea that we used a less than optimum Micah as a decoy for the rest of the passrush pack....him just being on the field creates space for other's, it looked as if Wilson was given a free run at Jones.

Parsons was terrorizing Jones even when he didn't get the sack. On one play, the giants had 3 guys in front of him, a TE or RB, a right tackle and a right guard. He dips inside the right tackle, pushes the right guard over like a water Buffalo, and hits Jones as he passes.

Parsons is allowing for other players to make plays. He's getting all of the attention. I really can't wait to see our defense face Carson Wentz.

The one thing about this game that had me cursing was our last play on offense. No, not the kneel down. Whoever it was that went out of bounds to stop the clock.

If I'm the coach I'm embarrassed by that. Just run the Damn ball, the giants aren't scoring a td in a minute twenty.

Hendershot is a rookie so I'll give him a pass. He showed athleticism and he will learn from it.

That was Ferguson, the TE. I hated the call having him running toward the sideline just asking to get pushed out of bounds. But yeah, that was dumb.

If Dak runs the offense like Rush, we might be the 49ers of last season come playoff time. Best pass rush in the league, strong running game, good secondary and the team has over 5 starters out will injuries. Keeping my fingers crossed but this might be the team that plays well in the playoffs. This team is tough.

Thing on the Barkley TD Barr was right there to make the tackle for minimal gain, but props to Barkley for breaking through that attempt and kicking it out wide.

For the most part liked the offensive game plan. Wasn't conservative in the 2nd half. 3rd and shorts were guaranteed run plays.

Still very early and we aren't fully healthy on the offensive side of the football. Let the Eagles get all the hype, just keeping on winning and stacking up victories.

I believe Wilson was the spy on Jones, at least in the 2nd half. Armstrong should of had 2 sacks, if not for that penalty on Joseph. He already has 3 sacks, looking like a very good resigning. Parsons even as a decoy causes many mismatches across the board.

Armstrong with 3 sacks this early is the biggest surprise to me. Still believe we need that 1 dominate, interior rusher, but we have everything else to form an elite defense.

Don't mind trying to end the game, but our rookie TE either has to get it or stay in bounds. Teaching moment.

Once the Giants took the lead, Moore got way more aggressive.

I was hoping Peters would have had more snaps at LG. Tyler Smith has been nothing short of outstanding at LT.
So glad to finally see emphasis on the running game. I hope they continue like this when Dak returns. No better aid to a QB than a solid running game that has to be respected by the D.
The officiating was an embarrassment to the league. Both teams should be sending in tape today to protest. That entire crew should be released.
Rush has great poise and nice touch on the ball allowing receivers to pull in off target throws.
I have to believe Dan Quinn will defend Hurts differently than Danny Jones. Hurts will kill the Cowboys with his legs otherwise.
Cowboys D is flat out scary. All 3 levels are providing great production. Parsons was probably little better than 50% last night and still wrecked the LOS.
