It's the media that is worrying....Cowboys may have found a real QB....so they are gonna start the campaign to get #4 back in there.
Why would the media care who the QB is?
Is this a race thing?

not to mention it hasnt been 10 in a row agaisnt quality opponents
I personally really like Romo, the whole underdog story. In 2006 when he came on the scene I wasn't as jaded as i am now. I mean it had only been a decade since Dallas won a SB.
Jerry still was trying to win a SB honestly. Romo had flair, but it just didn't work out. I thought he was better than Dak no doubt, more talented more exciting but he could never get the team over that last hill.
Just guys and gals, we as a fanbase just have to face the facts. 27 years since we made it past the 2nd round of the playoffs. I mean this is the Dallas Cowboys, they are on the Mount Rushmore of NFL franchises.
We are not the Browns, Chargers, Bengals types. Winning actually matters and really should be the goal of every year.

Ask yourself an honest question.. Do you think Jerry actually cares about winning a SB? I mean care like Jimmy and him did in 1991, like Debartalo did with the Niners, like Walsh, or Parcells or of course Brady and Bill did with NE?
If the answer is no, then why does he still want to be owner.

The NFL for their own good needs to pressure him to sell to Bezos. We get a guy with just as big of an ego, and he would have us winning a SB in short time. Jerry's era has passed he has accomplished everything he needs, Just sell 51% stake to Bezos for 10 billion.

He does not care about winning like a hungry for championship FO, he doesn't have that ambition anymore. There is no easy answer. Sell the team

not much to argue against. I must say that i think we are those teams you mentioned. We are no longer on the mount rushmore unless we get grandfathered in. I dont want Bezo the bozo to have anything to do with our team you think jerry has an ego hes worse that said i think folks with that kind of money have to have a certain type of temperment

I honestly think that jerry and his loyalty to coaches and players etc has cost us in the salary cap era. Jerry is too stubborn to certain steps that are needed. Sometimes it means getting ruthless. dak should never had been paid ,nor elliott nor romo (2nd time) nor Witten but his love of these franchise players who make him money selling gear and his relationship with them has kept him from making FA decisions that could have put this team over the edge. Garrett was kept to long as well.

If it wasnt for good drafting wed be no more relevant than the lions.

Dak want to play but from what I'm hearing that is very unlikely. Players do not make the determination that will fall to coaches and medical staff.

If he can grip the ball and keep with our game plan. Run it. Now we can run behind Tyler and Peters. Shorter passes and play action. This could be a blessing in disguise for his career. Having 3 big time WRs gave chances for deeper plays. Now it’s time to go back to a 2016 game plan. Run them over and get the ball out. Deeper shots come later.

I'm guessing this is just to keep the Commanders guessing. But of course some will spin it as him being worried about his job. I agree with those who say that there is no need to rush him back and he needs to take his time to heal completely.
Commanders..lol..the dumbest name ever

Why rush back? He better make sure he’s truly ready. If his first game back is a fat dud, he’s going to have the fan base totally against him.
That's why the rams game makes sense, playing against the skins is stupid,we need our big money QB to take on Aaron Donald and the rams defense to show the world of his elite QB skills and take our team to the promise land.

Nobody in their right mind would start Dak next week especially when you have a QB/team playing great together.

Sit and heal some more. Absolutely no reason why Cooper or the Cowboys should lose to Washington the way they have been playing.

I would sit him to the Eagles game honestly. Dak or no Dak don't think were beating the Rams anyway so why take the chance
The rams game is the one he needs to play in,if he's truly healed, he and we will find out soon enough, hell they threw in Tony when they said he was ready, but wasn't,..I'd do the same with 4,I mean all Tony was dealing with was a fractured back.

He sees Cooper playing well..... he wants no part of Cooper going 4 and 0 and beating the Rams and Bengals. Could you imagine the crowd response to Dak is Dak comes back after Cooper goes 4 and 0 and Dak proceeds to look bad and lose his first game back?

He’s so desperate it’s almost sad. I would say I feel bad for him, considering his job is about to be taken, however, he’s a con man and did all this to himself, so *shrugs*. Didn’t think his boy Orange Crush would go out there and do better than him. Self absorbency…

I'm anxiously awaiting an update from Dr. Jerry.
Dr. Jerry has been pretty much spot on... just like GM Jerry was spot on about Cooper when all of you were calling him a moron.

And the penalties, offensive line, Zeke, the receivers dropping passes...yet some quarterbacks are able to overcome adversity.
Overcome adversity? Cooper was hit 2 times last game and had a fairly clean pocket most of the game. His running game avg over 6 yards a carry, and take away CeeDee's one drop and his WRs played well.

IM not taking anything away from what Cooper is doing.... but it has been a pretty good deal by the entire team for him.
