First thing you learn in money management - learn how to say NO!. Doesn't mean you can't be generous, but know your investments and know your limits.

A lot of these guys come from poor upbringings, never learned how to save and use their money wisely. A part of saving is learning not to spend all of your money, say "no" to things you don't need because you're investing in the future.

Then the "boyz" come around and start sponging off you or wanting you to invest in their "new" scheme. And because these players can't say "no," they invest Skeet Man's car wash-foot massage-fried chicken joint because Skeet Man says it's gonna be fi-yah! And then the player loses his money because he followed the wrong advice.

There's no one who makes over $10 million in the NFL should go broke - not with the right investments. And, yet, it happens. :(

Why I loved Wes Unseld of the Washington Bullets back in the 70’s, he said s—- I can count I am my own agent. Now I know things have changed since the early 70’s and everyone has an agent but he let you know he was not stupid when it comes to money.

So he's injured, a primmadonna AND stupid.

Any financial advisor worth his salt would have told his client to stay away from bitcoin. My financial advisor said folks who invested in bitcoin are trying to lure others in so they can recoup their investment and get out, just like a pyramid scheme. Seems like my financial guy was right seeing how there are many reports of people losing money.
Everybody is losing money including you and your financial advisor. The World is in a recession. It is only going to get worse in the coming months . Inflation is at an all time high.

I ordered a Whatameal a few months back and it was over 11$ for a hamburger, coke and fries. Look at your grocery bill.

Not if you invested probably, you're not losing the money you've already made that's in tax-free vehicles.
Be that as it may, you know the difference between bitcoin and the general tanking of the economy.

Well you don't really lose unless you sell.

Bitcoin correlates with the tech stocks for now(Nasdaq). Countries have adopted it as legal currency and Biden is pushing bills to regulate cryptocurrencies because they are coming.

Yeah, that's all we should ask ourselves about every potential signing: Would Jerry absolutely love it? If the answer is 'yes', then it's probably a bad idea.
so IM assuming we hit on last years draft? Would you agree we hit on the draft before that? And would you say we hit on the 2020 draft as well? But yet everything Jerry gives a thumbs up to is a bad idea? It cant be both, so which is it?

Oh, I know..... every single draft that works out was someone else pushing for it and every bust was Jerry's idea, right?

Right. Exactly. I feel the NFLPA needs to address money management into it's safety issues. So very much like concussions and physical health after players retire. The NFLPA wants to protect the player's safety while they play and after their physical health after they retire. I wish they would add "financial safety" to this and make it a point if emphasis to keep the players financially safe. Like you said it happens all the time! It's horrible how these guys get screwed. Horrible people screw these guys over. It's a shame and a problem. I seriously hope the NFLPA takes more of a role in preventing it. No clue what they could do besides massive educational programs but something has to be done.

I was referring to free agents...and being facetious.

Nice word choice. You know, if you ad "ly" to end for "facetiously" you have a single word with all five regular vowels, and Y acting as a vowel in alphabetical order!

I'll return to the nerdery now...

Dallas should get him in for the playoff push... (yes playoffs or what you playing for)...

We will have tyron back and Peter's (if no injury) more game ready... adding OBJ will push us in superbowl contention with this defense... I like Lamb, Gallup and OBJ (physical pending) against anybody including the bills...

My friend was talking about how they should go for Beckam or Antonio Brown. I think Brown still need surgery.

On the other hand, Michael Gallup still hasn't come back from his ACL surgery. So we'll see.

The fact that every OBJ thread results in at least one mention of both Dez and TO tells you all you need to know about the topic.

Take all three of them, throw them in a hat, shake up the hat and then burn the hat…

OBJ is a cancer.
This is the last thing we need.
Stay with what we have. Better off in the long run.
