Awful news. My condolences to his wife and family. Far too young to pass away.

My heart goes out to his entire family and everyone else effected by this tragic loss.

R.I.P.

Gavin Escobar was one of a string of TE's drafted to replace Jason Witten along with Anthony Fasano and Martellus Bennet. Their careers we put on hold and their opportunities denied as they learned that Jason was immortal. Witten was eventually replaced after a two-decade career by the lone survivor, Dalton Schultz.

As for Gavin Escobar, who survived testicular cancer as a freshman in college, he was more of a receiver and was not considered a strong blocker. He played 5 seasons in the NFL.

Gavin's best professional game was with Dallas against the Giants in 2014 when he caught three passes for 65 yards and two TD's.

Wow, I live 30 min from Idyllwild. If it's the area I'm thinking of there have been a few that have died climbing there

People, like myself, that have a sense of adventure always fill the pull to feed their sense of adventure. But like I always say, if I pass at least I passed doing something I enjoy.

RIP My Brother.

RIP. He actually had talent but Garrett didn't know how to use him.
