Do you prefer the Cowboys be flashy and loud, or blue-collar and quiet?

I I prefer Michael Irvin in military camo

What I like is the comeradery I saw on the sideline cam during the game.
offense cheering for defense, defense cheering for offense, it was so different than what we've seen in past years.
 a lot of years

When have the Cowboys ever been blue collar and quiet?
If blue collar is hard working, then the Cowboys have always been blue collar. Their image is flashy, but that's not the players. That's PR and, more importantly, the media. Tex Schramm told the media the Cowboys are special and they believed it. After all, it wasn't a lie. Those 70s teams were appealing as hell. They were also hard working. IMO the Dallas Cowboys have always been a flashy blue collar team. They are proof that a team can be both.

It doesn't matter what we prefer when the owner and GM puts stripper poles in his billion dollar stadium

Blue collar....all the way. Tom Landry has been turning in his grave because of the way Jerry has destroyed all the tradition that made this franchise great.

As we all know, the Cowboys have always had a reputation for being Hollywood-ish. Loudmouthed in the 1990s, Jimmy guaranteeing victory over San Fran, the debauchery, glamor, ratings, media hype, etc.

I suspect many of us here are San Antonio Spurs fans too like I am, and they are the polar opposite of the Cowboys - a low key, well disciplined, blue collar, quiet but highly successful team (until recently.) Generally, I prefer the blue-collar type and dislike flash and hype. But the Cowboys brand is fundamentally high-profile and attention-grabbing.

So, if you could choose, would you rather the Cowboys be glamorous and loud, or low-key?

Is it the offseason yet?

Both way win, the team takes on the personality of the coach in most cases. The team has not won anything of meaning over the past 27 years so I would like us to win a 2nd round playoff game. A championship game appearance is what I hope for. Not saying SB win.

Also, is it the offseason already?

Jimmy & Jerry were brash from the jump.
Jimmy was disciplined also, don't forget him singling out players who shook hands and were all smiles after losses. If I remember correctly he called out Randy White after such a loss.

The better question might be, do we want our team to be like Jimmy after a loss or be like our coaching staff since after a loss? That is the question.
Players were uncomfortable, there was an edge in the building. Emmit & Troy would be uncomfortable. How do you think the long snapper felt?

In some ways this team over the last 25 years seems to take on the persona of the fan base in believing they deserve or are going to win just for existing. Too many seasons they were babbling way too much before the season started about the SB, then collapsed at the onset. Conversely they overachieved in seasons they were quiet and humble… 2014, no one was expecting much because of the defense and 2016, Romo went down early in Seattle. Guess I would like for them to just shut up, play some smash mouth and not get the big head based on what the media talking heads are saying, until they’ve actually done something!
